Michael sighed as he hung up the phone, rubbing his temples. He had been afraid that this day was coming, and was honestly hoping it didn't. He put the phone on the counter and stepped out of the kitchen, his original intentions of getting blood long forgotten. 

"Ven?" He said, looking around for her. He sounded concerned as he stepped into the study "I just got off the phone with Izzy's principal.."

Miles stood in the kitchen, digging a spoon into the giant tub of ice cream and taking a bite when he heard someone approaching. The plan was to quickly put the ice cream back in the freezer before he was caught but by the time he tried, he looked at the short redhead and gave a guilty smile.

Tyson was in the engine room, taking a quick nap in his hammock.  Of course he would have slept in his bunk, but in ship needed a tune up, he'd be johnny on the spot.  He could sense when a part needed repair, or what needed to be fixed.  He was talented that way.

The rest was well deserved and needed, even though he knew at any moment it could be asked of him for a favor or a consult.

Harry Dresden. Wizard. Or at least that's what it says on his card and in the phone books. The wizard towered over most that walked past him. Some even considered him a giant, but he was pretty sure that's because people were short, not because he was tall. Or maybe because he stood at 6'8 or so. He dug around for his keys and walked into his office. A humble place, not much there. A desk, filing cabinets, a water cooler, an old coffee perculater on a table to the far left. He made a fresh pot of coffee and went to sit down at his desk to check his mail. He wasn't expecting anyone today, but damn if he wasn't bored and needed something to do.
