There was something off about the new kid at Hawkin’s High & Eddie couldn’t place his finger on it but it was the suspicious kind of off, it was the instantly recognisable One Of Us type of off. Eddie was not gonna let anyone else get their hands on him, and he was right too! The kid actually mentioned how he’d wanted to play D&D “You’ve come to the right place my guy.” he smirked brightly at him. “We’ll see how you do in tonight’s game, 6 o’clock, school theatre, and don’t be late.”
The tournament was a tough one, no tougher than Erica’s had been, but Eddie had won victory. Of course he did, who was difficult to beat. However, Basil played a pretty mean hand by all account of a first timer with their little group. As everything began to be packed away, Eddie made a point of talking to Basil. He threw an arm around the guys shoulder, smiling at him “You’re quite the player.” he complimented before throwing his free hand out “Welcome to Hellfire. The names Eddie.”
