A small diary entry by me ✧⁠*⁠。

(Pokémon DR)

"a long while ago, before I started training, I always had my hair up-- it stuck up like a bunny tail, though.

at some point, we arrived in Paldea around my teenage years. and then came this trainer (from Naranja Academy) with a wooper; I met her during a competition of sorts. (she initially confused me for a guy, funnily enough). after the event, we became friends. [I] stayed for about a year before returning to Unova (my home). and although we had grown close, I haven't been able to contact her much ever since we left. but I didn't worry too much- we did promise to meet each other again, and by then to be the best of the best.

around that time, I was 11 and still lived with my parents. we moved to the Johto region for a little while, and there I met my Sentret... with a star on its belly instead of a circle. (for some reason, I accepted it as the most normal thing ever). after he had decided to help and join my journey, we didn't hesitate to start travelling. we crossed at least 2-3 regions within a few years, and we've learned so much and made many new friends...

I believe in her.

and I was right to do so.

soon, I will see a person who grew with all their effort. I hope that person sees that I too have grown, and that I've been waiting for very, very, long.

I wonder if I'll recognize her, or if she'll recognize me."

Okay well for a little bit of a note my s/o here isn't my s/o (yet) in my soon-to-be first shift but I'm still gonna answer it post-...friend stage ig😭🙏oh and I'm talking about Rika here!!

🧃FIRST ENCOUNTER

"The first time I met her was during one of my travels as a teen where I went to the Paldea region! There was a competition going on at the moment, and that's when I met one of the Naranja Academy students-- her. I haven't seen her for a while after that, but I'm real fortunate to have returned."

🍞 MATCHING?

"...I should ask her to get a tattoo with me now... Hah! Well, I guess that while we don't have any matching stuff (or at least that I'm aware of), she does have my hair tie.... Crazy to think she's had it for years now, but I guess that doesn't count as a matching item if I don't have any of her accessories, hm?"

🍞 S/O AS COLOR

Imma answer this as my Earth-19 self bc Poke DR me wouldn't be able to decide/say corny stuff™️, but since her JP name is "Chili" and her name in ENG is just a bit short of "Paprika" I would say she's the red that the color of her eyes are. (It's between that, the rest of her color scheme, or a soft brown though).
