Pokeboard.com is a fansite made for Pokemon fans to join together in discussions about and for Pokemon. Our community is friendly, understanding, and we're always welcoming new members with open arms. We are proud to present our forum has an Academy set up for those who are interested in the metagame. Pokeboard Valentine's Day Banner Contest

Do you want to see more banners on Pokeboard? Do you want to try your hand at designing a banner? Do you want to see your work displayed at the top of the board for a whole week?  Then THIS is the contest for you!

Pokeboard Presents:  The Valentine's Day Banner Contest!

This is the moment we've all been waiting for! The new banner contest! Now, with your artistic creativity, you can show the world how many amazing designers Pokeboard has!  Now, what's the catch you say? There is none! Just design your banner, PM it to Absol (me) or send it to me by e-mail ([email protected]), and I shall upload it for voting before the week is over! Now, here's some rules:

Have the banner size be 950 x 180. No other sizes will be accepted and will be eliminated.

Do NOT post your submissions on this thread. Your submission will be eliminated, and you will have to create a completely new banner.

Please keep it Pokemon themed. This is a Pokemon forum, and not a My Little Pony forum. This ought to be obvious.

Please have the words "PokeBoard" on the banner. If you do not have the forum name visible over a quick scan, then your submission will be disqualified.

All mediums are allowed, however, digital mediums are preferred.

This is Valentine's Day themed - please use colors that make people think of Valentine's Day - same with the Pokemon. For example, don't use the color green as your background and don't use a Pokemon like Gengar, because those two things don't necessarily connect with Valentine's Day.

No explicit themes whatsoever.

You can send me up to 2 entries. Your latest entry will be used, and if you send any more entries after the second one, all of your later entries will be ignored.

Please try your hardest and have fun!

IMPORTANT DATES:

All submissions are due by February 1st, 2014 at 8 PM Pacific Time (GMT +8)

All voting shall take place between February 1st, 2014 - February 7th, 2014. Anyone can and should vote!

The winning design will be put on the banner once the voting has finished (February 7th).

The design shall be removed as the default design on February 14, 2014 at 8 PM Pacific Time (+8 GMT) REMINDER: Please, do NOT post your submissions here! Your post will be deleted and that design shall be disqualified!

PokéBoard's revamp is finished! http://www.pokeboard.com/index.php Our new layout consists of Welcoming new Trainers first to our fun-filled board, beginning with lovely introductions. Next is our Discussions, where members can come together for a variety of topics. Pokémon General Discussion, Pokémon Video Games, and the General Chat can be found here. Next, our lovely RPGs section where members can unwind and have fun participating in our ASB (Anime Style Battling) and member created role-plays! Our Competitive Battling section is next, where we embrace battlers all over to come and join our PokéBoard League. We really need battlers and those who want to become Gym Leaders of our forum. Teambuilding is also found here, where competitive movesets and teams are put together and rated. The Art & Design is where our members may present their created works of graphics, artistically of drawings or words of fictions and fanfictions alike. Fun-filled quizzes can also be found here.
