Luxray

Man, Luxray is such a cool Pokemon, especially for one that evolves from an early route Pokemon! I very rarely have Pokemon evolutionary lines that I can't decide which stage I like best, because all three of them are just so well designed! I love Luxrays because I played through Platinum with one, and I've shiny hunted one as well!

Empoleon

Before Inteleon Empoleon used to be my favorite water type, but as Inteleon's day isn't here yet (big surprise that it'll be part of this challenge, I know). Empoleon has been a favorite of mine because Sinnoh is one of my favorite regions and I have fond memories of finally beating Cynthia after trying for 2 years with nothing but my Empoleon. I also had a special interest in penguins around the time that DPPT came out. Fun fact, I used to run an Empoleon pokeganda!
