For the Pokemogus Nuzlocke thing
In the original, non nuzlocke AU, I wrote a little pre-history to explain where the most common version of the classic 'imposter' came from, involving the Fungle and the original Skeld I crashlanding on thr planet where it was.
Originally, I intended for there to be no survivors. But the nuzlocke concept kind of works with it, and so I'm somewhat considering making it a prequel to the other AU, and writing them along side one another, with the Nuzlocke prequel being a stranded/ survival story, which would explain how death is possible and common. No safety nets like there would be on a colonized planet.
Anyways, all this to say I had an epiphany about John Carpenter's The Thing and Among Us at work, and am now getting absolutely roasted on multiple fronts because I DIDN'T KNOW AND I GOT EXCITED MAKING THE CONNECTION!!
