Witchy the Charmander’s Luck Spell Jar
This is a spell jar based on my Shiny Charmander buddy, Witchy! Upon looking at 31-day witchcraft challenges, I was inspired to make this! So what’s the point of this spell jar and what will you need for it?
This spell jar is to draw luck into your life, whether you’re a Shiny Hunter looking for your next Masuda Method Shiny, or just a witch who needs a little extra boost of luck. So let’s get into this!
A jar, bottle, or other container of some sort that you can close
Amber for luck, healing, and protection (can be substituted for or supplemented with cinnamon)
Citrine for luck, protection, psychic powers, and confidence (can be substituted for or supplemented with oregano and rosemary)
Pennies for financial luck (optional)
Acorns for good luck, protection, wisdom, personal power, and strength (they also help with dysphoria!)
Something gold in color to represent Witchy, whether it’s part of a color pencil or some dice or something else
The best times for putting this spell jar together are as follows:
Any Wednesday of any month
Any day from noon to five p.m.
Any time during a waxing or blue moon
So the Wednesday during a waxing phase or blue moon from noon to five p.m. would be the best time.
Now we get to how you put it together!
First thing, make sure you have your stuff together and your jar opened up. If you have some kind of Charmander thing that can watch you while you work, this is a great addition!
If you’re using pennies, put those in as the bottom layer. If you’re not, put in the larger of the stones/herbs you’re using, then the acorns, then the smaller of the stones/herbs and the golden thing. Put the lid on the jar and say the following:
“I welcome good luck into my life
With the help of this little Pokemon of fire.
May this jar only bring good luck to me
And keep bad luck from being dire.”
I’m a sucker for rhyming, I’m not sorry. If you want to bless those close to you, you can change the last line to “And to those that I love and admire.” Close it out using whatever spell closing phrase you want, whether it’s “So mote it be” or “Bippity boppity boo or whatever the fuck”, the level of seriousness doesn’t matter.
Now, put it where you leave other spells that you cast. The best way to cast a spell is to cast it and then leave it and forget about it. I put all of my spells on the top of my tallest bookshelf, where I can’t see because I am short.
