I’ve been gone for a while...

So I’ve been gone for a hot minute...but I’m finally back! I just came back from a trip to California and am currently supposed to be writing another research paper and I just want to sleep. I arrived today at around 7:10 am and felt super sluggish the whole day and desperately need sleep. An update on that last research paper, I got a 45/50 and my conclusion was fine actually, funny huh? That yarn I was splitting was too much work so I just bought the weight of yarn I needed instead and use that yarn for something else. I started a project for an artist I follow on TIkTok and Instagram, Umeboi and it involves making lei’s at home and sending them to him. He explained how the actual piece of art isn’t just lei’s, but also the connection you have with the people you have with people around you. I’m super excited and have already made one to send and am planning on making at least two more. Anyways that is all for now... I hope to be back again tomorrow but here is what I ate while in California. I LOVE poki bowls. It was a pickled ginger, red onion, and cucumber mixed with spicy miso and soy sauce. Topped with two scoops of marinated tuna and one scoop of ahi tuna, edamame beans, pineapple, pickled ginger, spring onions all on a base of white jasmine rice. Oh! and I had peach green tea limeade, but it was not very great as the bowl.
