at the sound of a polite ‘excuse me’ he turns, only to jump an unexaggerated ten feet backwards at the sight of a woman. he’s frozen in a comically defensive pose, arms thrown backwards. despite his behavior the look that appears on the blonde’s face is apologetic, his tone following suit.

Mercury was enjoyed the, oh so delicious Beacon food, after the spar he had forfeited with Pyrrha from the sparing class. He reported all the information he was able to get from the spar to Cinder and headed to the dinning hall by himself. Sitting a bit away from everywhere else, he was enjoying his meal by himself. Of course, he was sitting in a spot of the hall that he was able to watch everyone else. Truth be told, he enjoyed watching the interaction between people then just focusing on eating. So he was eating at a rather snail like pace.
