P could have been for any of the flowers we both love, peonies or poppies, passionflowers or penstemons, Hollington might have chosen a grass I grow like Pennisetum or Pleioblastus or Phyllostachys nigra, black bamboo. Knowing I am a fern fanatic, he might have chosen Phlebodium, Polypodium, or Polystichum (Reginald's favourite name to test one's botanical ignorance). Instead, David Hollington decided that the letter P in his Florilegium would be for the perennial Polemonium caeruleum, Greek Valerian, also known as Jacob's ladder. It is a quiet little beauty that most gardeners wouldn't bother with, but that is what makes this collection so interesting. There is the popular tulip for T, but there are several undercelebrated sweeties, like Polemonium. We hope to find a publisher by the end of 2022, when P is also for "the Paintings are all done" and my text is "Polished". #polemoniaceae #polemoniumcaeruleum #jacobsladder #blueflowers #hollingtonsflorilegium #gardeningfriends #newbookproject #pisforpolemonium #lamacchinafissa #italianhouses #italiangardens #provinciadimantova #smallflowers (presso La Macchina Fissa) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcqFeEmIs7v/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I have been busy with many things lately, but it is no excuse not to respond to my followers! I looked back two weeks, and these are the things that I think definitely should have gotten a response. I would reply to them all, but that would be excessively long.

Wow, Rika plays for the Indiana Pacers. That´s the reason of her great wealth, I see...
I had no idea that the basketball shirt/shorts matched the Pacers uniform, but it really does. It’s uncanny.

ahh, please let us know if she displays it in her house! I hope she didn't regret the purchase too much..
If she did, I never saw it, unfortunately!

well, that's not an umbrella for the rain, that's an umbrella to avoid sunburn when you're on the beach!
Well, you’re technically right, but I mean...they’re the same as far as the game mechanics are concerned...I figured it counted...

Well, if you're in a new place and don't know what the climate is like, you can always look at the plants. I think Marshal is right, actually!
Well, you’re technically right, too. I meant that Marshal probably won’t learn much by GROWING plants, because that’s what I thought he was doing. But yes, if you find yourself in an unfamiliar place but you know a lot about plants, you can definitely use the plants to figure out where you are. Or you can become a doctor of botany and learn all kinds of things about the world, which is also learning a lot from plants. So I’ll give you this one, but grudgingly.

I think that is great, they are recycling. Haha
Yeah, well, they owe me a replacement boot. Also, I misspelled “rubber.” Damn it.

Oh yes. The grass deterioration. Really f*** it. The only thing I would be interested, too... Why do Nintendo punish you for playing their game a lot?
TV Tropes actually calls it an Anti-Poop Socking measure, which would mean that it’s there specifically to punish you for playing a lot. I’m not sure that’s right, but I still hate it. I’ve seen it used to very impressive effect in other towns, though!

Yay for Pippy appreciation! She's my favorite villager! <3

i love pippy! i almost took her into reverie instead of dotty, but i'm happy with dotty in the end. [and there are *so many* peppy rabbits!]
I’m glad people like her. I put her in the same category as Tabby (objectively the best villager).

Oh boy the robot left home. Did she function ok?
Mostly. Apparently she’s made of a special alloy to resist sunlight, so it wasn’t a problem for her to spend time in Megatown. Rika made sure not to take her swimming or to the island, though.
