I am a graduate of Bastyr University’s Herbal Sciences program. My passion for working with plants began at an early age by mashing leaves, berries, and flowers into “potions” and maintaining my own small garden. The potions have since developed into medicines, and the garden and knowledge of plants is blossoming. When I am not making medicine or photographing plants and nature, I enjoy capturing and preserving their beauty in fine silver. All plants used in my jewelry are harvested respectfully and sustainably. I'm rather in love with the beauty of the forest, and making it something you can bring with you, wherever you may be. Plants, especially medicinal ones, are a huge part of my life and it brings me great joy to bring them into yours ♥

Ruta graveolens - Rue Sprig - Moon - Pure Silver Pendant 🌿🌙 Rue is one of my favorite plants and I really love this print in particular.  It feels nicely balanced, without being perfectly symmetrical. Rue is traditionally a plant for protection, and it just felt so right to do it as a moon.  Especially being made with pure silver, rather than sterling. The leaf was respectfully taken from Bastyr University's herb garden. I used a new ring style for the bail, a square ring.  I love it!   (If you don't, let me know and I can do a custom one for you with a standard round ring, or wire-wrap, etc.)

Forest Fern Pendant - Cascading Maidenhair Fern

I securely soldered a bail ring through this piece. It is oxidized for an antiqued look.

Deceptively angelic Aconitum napellus - Aconite, Monkshood, Wolf's Bane - with Rainbow Moonstone

Historically, Aconite has been used carefully in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. In the western world, Aconite is more commonly known as a poison. Its beautiful flowers and leaves are quite deceiving in that respect, and deceptively angelic with the ethereal moonstone.

This leaf was taken respectfully from the Bastyr University garden. I've wrapped it with a beautiful smooth blue-flashing moonstone, with a small faceted blue-flashing rainbow moonstone on top.
