Todays #MondayMaker is @sparrowpapercraft ! Megg is a Louisiana-based artist who specializes in wycinanki (vee-chee-non-key), the art of Polish paper cutting! As someone who grew up with Polish grandparents, I recognize and LOVE this art form. Megg uses scissors to do all her work— not an xacto knife! (Apparently her great grandma used sheep shearers!!) I am truly amazed by what she does and love even more that she is helping keep this dying art form and tradition alive.
