I’ve been reblogging a lot of PLS VOTE stuff about the US election which might seem presumptuous as a none American but I have friends in the US and let's be real what happens for you effects the wider world 

In the UK’s last General Election - which was held specifically to give the Tory’s a bigger majority, we had a swell of youth voting (who skew labour in the UK just like they skew democrat in the US.) Estimates vary but I’ve seen from a jump from an expected 40ish % to mid 50′s% turn out being quoted as the increase. We ended up with a hung parliament and the Tory’s lost their majority until they went into coalition and hung onto power but it still was a much better result than if we hadn’t had that swing. Imagine what could happen if we’d got the youth vote up to the 80% is it for the demographics who vote Tory. 

Please exercise your right to vote, it can make a difference. Don’t be told otherwise.
