having that seer mole see martin’s future was such a great thing to put in there and then having boldred know the vision as well because then you just keep getting these like. haunting reminders that things aren’t going to be okay for martin.. what a way to put pressure on your hero it’s horrible but so brilliant
Rose: You knew that an owl was gonna crash through that window?
Pollekin: Actually, yes.
Rose: So why didn’t you open it?
Gentle reminder that Polleekin tried to get Martin, Rose, Grumm, and Pallum to stay with her by pretending they meant to remain for a few days. When they politely refused, she warned them to go to Noonvale and not return to Marshank.
Goodbye, my friend, and thank you, thank you, thank you, It makes me sad to leave you upon this summer day. Don’t shed a tear or cry now. Goodbye now, goodbye now. I’m sure I’ll see you somehow, if I pass by this way, For the seasons don’t foretell Who must stay or say farewell, And I must find out what lies beyond this place. But I know deep in my heart We are never far apart While I have a mem’ry of your smiling face. Goodbye, my friend, and thank you, thank you, thank you, Your kindness guides me ever as I go on my way.
-Laterose of Noonvale, Martin the Warrior
Follow your frontshadow, do not stop Till you reach the one with dead three top. See the twin paths, beware of one Sweet as the spreading atop of a scone. Camp close by night, watch out by day For the three-eyed one who bars the way. More you will not learn until Meeting the warden of Marshwood Hill.
-Polleekin, Martin the Warrior
This was probably answered somewhere else, but I can't find anything that addresses it specifically so I thought I'd ask. Can an author submit more than one story for the mini bang? I have two stories and I am having a hard time choosing between them.
Yes, this year you can write two stories if you wish!
