The Ultimate Dean 'Fit Off is finally here!

Over the next five days of polls, you will be presented with fifty of Dean's various outfits and costumes from throughout the series.

The two winners from each poll will be compiled into one final poll to determine the Ultimate Dean 'Fit winner!

Poll 1 is now closed - Faith Hoodie and Dad’s Leather Jacket are in the next round.

Hello nonnie!

I don't know if you're still lurking around, but I wanted you to know that I have not forgotten about this brilliant idea! It was the very first idea that got sent through, and I love it so much I want to make sure I do it justice, so I have been sitting on this for far too long.

I started listing out all the different Dean outfits that I have seen to be fan favorites, and there is far more than 10. This just means I might need to split it over several polls. Maybe I could even do a showdown with multiple rounds! 🤔

I think I'm definitely going to need help with this though, so I am finally publishing your ask to appeal to all the followers of this blog.

Please let me know which of Dean's many wonderful costumes, outfits and roleplays you would like to see in the Ultimate Dean 'Fit Off.

Short Hiatus

Hi again Tumblr SPN fam,

I have really been enjoying getting this blog off the ground and putting out daily polls for you all. My whole vision with this project has always been to gain commentary from the wider SPN fandom on Tumblr, and so far it has been going great!

Unfortunately my life has taken a small turn lately so I haven't had the space to put as much love into this as I had previously hoped. I have some time to myself coming up in mid-May, where I plan to get my head back into this properly and make some better plans for going forward. I hope you will please bear with me while I put this project on a short hiatus until that time.

The ask box and submissions will remain open during this time, and any outstanding asks I have not yet actions have not been forgotten. Please continue to send any ideas or feedback you have.

In the meantime, check out the previous polls, and please continue to share your thoughts even if they're closed. I love reading your commentary even when I don't necessarily agree.

Hello Tumblr SPN Family...

When I started this blog, I had a lot of ideas for polls that would be fun to do, and hopefully get some thoughts from the wider Supernatural family.

This fandom can feel very divided sometimes and it can make the angles we consider this show from feel very segmented; by ship or by character or by story arc. Obviously, creating polls which pit those things against each other is not the solution to unifying us into one holistic hive mind. However, when we find ourselves wondering "what really is the deal with Chuck?" and we pose such a question to our own individual echo chamber, what kind of answers are we getting back?

The idea here was to break free from our silos, and ask questions which would reach members of the SPN family on Tumblr who we may not usually interact with, and perhaps receive back a less biased view than we would see on our own blogs. Sometimes, an opinion is only controversial because of who it's presented to. I am just one anonymous Supernatural fan trying to gather those more "controversial" thoughts and see how controversial they actually are.

My aim has always been to put out a new poll every day (just before noon UTC), and so far this has been working well. I still have ideas, but some of them are taking a little longer to pull together than I'd originally anticipated. I have loved seeing all your responses so far, even when I don't agree, and I would love to keep this blog going, but I could really use your help.

If you have any ideas, no matter how vague, please send them to me via ask, submission or dm. I'd really appreciate the assistance. Most of you can probably create your own polls now, and some of you are probably even feeling some poll fatigue, but I hope there are a few of you who are finding this blog interesting.

A lot of Supernatural themed polls have been created since more users have been given access to them, and in true spn-family style, chaos has ensued.

The purpose of this project is to create a collection of polls that can be shared around the entirety of Supernatural Tumblr, without being biased towards a particular ship, character or section of the audience.

The only way that works is if you share the polls (and I stay anonymous). Submissions and ask box are also open if you have ideas for polls you’d like to see from a more impartial space.

Don't worry, I have no plans of going anywhere. I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's responses from across the full spectrum of this fandom, and want to keep up that momentum.

You won't find any joke-driven polls here; I'll leave that for you to do on your own. The purpose of this blog is to give us a broad range of views without the discourse.
