Art tip: use a paint rag! It's reusable and lasts a lot longer than a paper towel. You don't need anything fancy, mine is literally a scrap of black cotton fabric. You can also use an old t shirt!

Gotta be real y'all Aventurine is one of my boys but I'm not... Super big on the SP that was just announced...?

My critiques:

- this could have been a skin (especially since summer is a seasonal thing, not typically year round, and there's little canon reasoning for why he would be at the beach (besides the vacation earned through his rank at the IPC))

- I feel like they should've done something with Nihility. I understand that we already got a Nihility unit with Mortenax Blade, but idk if this SP lines up with the characterization of Aventurine in the game so far. I would like to see something about him confronting his beliefs and views about himself and the world, but it's a bit early to make a final judgement on that.

- Quantum isn't a bad pick but again I think I would've rathered him be a Nihility path, and I think the Quantum is how Hoyo is going to tie in his Penacony story

- I think if they did something like they did with March 7th it would be interesting. Like you get a questline that ends with Aventurine's SP (e.g. March 7th's Hunt/Imaginary version). I understand that this would be a whole logic puzzle for the team bc March 7th's Preservation/ice version is free, 4★, and everyone has her by default after a certain point. Depending on what they have planned I'm hoping for a free 5★ (because... Everyone is a 5★ now. We need more 4★) and my thoughts are just that it would make more sense/be more fair to the player if the Aven SP was free somehow

That being said.... I do like his design from a visual appeal standpoint. They understand their audience.
