Regarding transfem Kris, this current wave of transmisogyny is especially transparent when there was never a similar pushback to the years of people portraying Kris with typically transmasc features, such as them wearing binders. It only ever happens when the possibility of them being a transfeminine nonbinary person is brought up, because that's more gendered than assuming every nonbinary person was assigned female at birth to them, apparently.

yeah I've seen this too!!! nobody really notices nor cares if you portray kris with a binder or as transmasc in general but the second you portray them as transfem you're suddenly "making them more binary"? it's truly really odd and shows how transmisogynistic these people are being

im not in the fandom at all but like i fully thought transmasc jax was all but cannon? Because everyones rooms reflected their insecurities or whatever? Idk im new here i dont even remember where i heard that

i don't think their rooms were ever supposed to represent their insecurities...? ive never heard that before huh... but no, transmasc jax isn't all but canon. im having difficulty writing out a cohesive message about it myself, but this post is a good essay on transfem jax (pre episode 7, but it actually adds more fuel to the theory with her room and the "aren't you supposed to be sad about the inability to change your body" comment to zooble)

YEAH TOTALLY...!!! i think if lace was actually a child she would be written a lot differently, because the implications and possibility of lacenet are right there, and like if shes supposed to be a child... i would be really really concerned? i'm just going to assume that she isnt because you can really read most hornet and lace scenes as romantic and if lace is. Supposed to be a child then thats um. a little gross to say the least lol
