Didn't even notice at first but-
Polly?
they are tell, don't show. i know that makes the b/as mad but that's what the show turned them into, be mad at the right people for it, not the bugheads who like a different dynamic. 🤷♀️
they've put very little effort into b/archie outside of relying on the history of the comics and some of the plot that they showed in s1. i don't think it's skipped many people's notice that most (not all) of the relationships that don't/won't work out have a lot more coming from the woman's side? or there's a certain stereotype that gets played for each woman and they really don't deviate from the norm.
the infatuated good girl next door. the rich bitch. the long suffering girlfriend. the not like other girls girl.
is it any wonder they have totally different personalities when they're written with the partners who were infatuated with them first?
(eta: and by the above i mean because then they're seen as the ideal partner for someone)
i'm not saying that all the writers on the show are sexist or whatever but i am saying that there's a pattern with the way they write women on the show.

Okay I’m gonna be honest I’m kind of scared for axolotls to come to minecraft. We’re STILL dealing with the effects of finding nemo (blue tangs and clownfish being bought for kids and affecting ecosystems yada yada and this happened with so many other movies/shows) and I’m genuinely kind of scared to see what happens after they’re introduced...
