Mask had a crush on Aloha for so fucking long and that’s why he acted so spiteful toward him in splat 1 era

FUN FACTS! + AU PLOT!

- So basically, for this au Aloha is a part Merfolk part inkling creature, he can shift between multiple stages of being more merfolk and more inkling, but there will always be one or two parts from the other part of him. ( For example Tentacle hair as a full mer and gills as a full inkling.)

- There has also been a thing invented to stop inklings from disintegrating in water but only for five hours.( but it's not really that important.)

- Only team pink knew about Aloha's merfolk half, that was until the rest of the S4 found out. - Mask was the first to find out, he had witnessed Aloha fall into his own pool like an idiot without having used the thing. Aloha had come back just fine and had to tell Mask how in the ever loving fuck he survived. - Skull was next to find out after Mask had texted him in a panic saying that Aloha might of died( this was before Aloha resurfaced.) so Skull walked in on Aloha showing Mask his fully shifted mer form. -The last one to find out is Army, who understandably freaks the ever loving fuck out because, and i forgot to mention this, Merfolk were considered Ancient Predators that hunted humanity and anything that entered their waters. The other three managed to calm Army down so he could actually comprehend that Aloha is part Merfolk.

- But how did Aloha come to be this way? Well, blame Kamabo co. You see, Kamabo co wanted some really strong experiment/soldier things so they decided to do some dna combining and bam, you have merfolk again. Unfortunately for them the Merfolk escaped, including Aloha who was too young to remember this event.

- anyways, that's enough plot stuff, let's have some fun facts now!

- As shown in the image way above, when Aloha is fully shifted into his mer form he is very large.

- This au contains Poly S4

- Mask had somewhat known that Merfolk were ancient predators, but thought they were cool so Aloha got 20% cooler in his eyes when he turned out to be part merfolk

- Will Kamabo CO come for Aloha eventually? Probably! Could they come for him? Absolutely! Will Aloha's boyfriends and friends beat Kamabo co up if they try? YES.

- Aloha in this au loves to see people's flustered reactions, so he tends to try and fluster people to see this reaction. Army tends to be one of the most often victims of Aloha's flusteration attempts, due to him being the easiest to fluster out of the S4.

- Aloha tends to grow scales on his body when he is stressed. These scales led to someone( i won't say who.) getting suspicious about if Aloha really was an Inkling or not.

- When shifted over 70% into his Mer form, Aloha's eyes can glow in the dark.

- When shifting into mer form Aloha tends to unbutton his shirt to let his hip-gills??? breathe easier.

- In Aloha's house there is a freezer room containing large bags of cod and other types of fish. Why? Well, every month Aloha has to consume a large amount of protein and meats in order to sustain his body. - If he doesn't get the large amount of Protein and Meats then he'll get stuck in his full mer form with a really painful hunger. (( Blame Kamabo CO for this, it was going to be used as a leverage over all the Merfolk but it sort of backfired.))
