i’ve decided to start projecting a lot of bisexual polyamorous feelings onto steve harrington and there’s nothing the duffer brothers can do to stop me
Things the boys do in romantic relationships
Personal headcannons
Steve: Keeps track of special interest, forcing himself to understand and like them so his crush will have someone to talk about the interest with.
"Munson I knew you liked Iron Maiden so I found some super cool band T-shirts for you, can you tell me more about the bands mascot Eddie?"
Billy: He would keep things he's given even if he has no use for them. This includes stuff that is not even in his personal interest. He'd keep it a secret though. No one would know about it.
Steve letting Billy borrow his strawberry lipgloss one day because his lips were chapped. He hasn't used it since because its not his style but he keeps it hidden away in the drawer next to his bed and proceeds to say he's lost it.
Eddie: He'd enjoy talking about what he enjoys, much like Steve he'd keep mental notes and write/ sing covers of music his crush likes.
The one time Eddie found out Billy liked Mötely Crüe and he set up his guitar and Amp outside Billy's house (When Niel wasn't there) and played and sang a cover of 'Kickstart My Heart.'
Reminder that I have an AO3 account! Posting my fanfics there- aswell as the continued story of the fiction I posted on my account! Still trying to get used to AO3 and writing so please be patient with me.

An Unusual Trio //Chapter 4- Unspoken Similarities//
Warnings: This chapter contains abuse, swearing and stressful situations
---------------------------------------------------
Steve sighed softly, "It's no big deal, now are you two going to stand there and watch me sleep or are you going to go back to doing whatever the hell you do best?" Eddie snickered a bit, "Steve I really think you should try to head home tonight, it's supposed to drop to 20• around eleven PM." Billy chimed in this time, "Christ- That cold? It's in the 60's right now, how the hell does it drop so quickly?" The Californian man is still not entirely used to being in Indiana. "Welcome to Indiana, Hargrove, the weather is unpredictable." Steve would say, glancing over at Billy. "Well shit, do you need any blankets? I'm sure my uncle has some to spare." The freak pulled back his hair behind his ear as the light wind was blowing into his face. Billy looked around, "Maybe not sleep in the Starcourt parking lot though? They might deem your vehicle as suspicious after the mall closes, dumbass." Steve crossed his arms leaning against his car as he looked slightly down at the man. Billy hated that Steve was taller, he thought it was annoying. "You got a better place for me to park blondie?" He'd ask cocking a brow. Billy would smirk at the nickname before looking away, taking a puff of his cigarette, "Nope, just don't freeze your ass off. Especially because I want a rematch with King Steve which hasn't made a return since '84." Just like that the blonde strolled off to his Camaro, being sure to rev the engine a few times before speeding off onto the ever darkening streets of Hawkins as nightfall began to approach.
Billy's eyes looked rather sympathetic as he was driving back to his hell hole of a home. Tears started to form as he blinked them back. He never would have known Steve was in a relatively similar situation as him. His father kicked him out of the house for not meeting standards on occasion and now Steve's suffering something similar. Despite his supposed hatred for the man he wanted to check on him as the night went by. He wondered why Steve wouldn't just go to the Wheeler house and ask to stay the night, though he also knows what it's like to not want to mention home life. He knew he was going to get beaten by Neil when he got home, most likely for being out too late. Neil was smart about keeping his abuse on the down low which pissed off Billy, he only ever smacked Billy and an occasional punch or throat grab to keep him in-line. It's never been anything to leave enough of a mark to call the police, to arrest the man for abuse, never enough for students to realize his home life.
"Where the fuck have you been William?" Neil was waiting for him at the door when Billy walked in. "I was out at the mall, sir. Mr. Hargrove's some is outside freezing in the parking lot. With your permission I wanted to take some blankets up to him for the night." Neil sneered, "About time you had some respect, but I refuse to let you out. If he wants blankets so damn badly why isn't he at a friend's house. Whatever he did it was probably his fault. Now get your ass to bed, I don't want to see you anymore tonight." Billy kept a stern face, not wanting to show weakness to Neil. "Yes sir." He'd say, quickly walking to the bedroom and closing the door, locking it out of fear.
An Unusual Trio //Chapter 3- Meet Me In The Middle//
Warnings: Mental Abuse, Swears, Slurs, Lack Of Parental Figures
---------------------------------------------------- Steve would arrive home only to his surprise to see his father home. Him and his parents didn’t entirely get along, they wanted him to dress nice for their own benefit because of their wealth. Sure Steve listened to them for the most part when they were there, but more often than not his parents were rarely home. So much so that December 25th 1983 as well as 1984 he spent his Christmas with the Wheelers. So it was always a surprise to see his parents home, his father complaining about the outfit Steve was wearing, “It’s my work uniform, father, I can’t help it.” Steve would sigh as his father would speak up, “Well you look like a fag, you’re an absolute embarrassment to the Harrington family name. Getting a job where you dress like a Queer.. It's absolutely ridiculous.” Steve would grumble, “Well it’s still a job, I still make money. You wanted me to get a job because I didn’t have good grades to get into a college and now you complain because I have a job.” Mr. Hargrove turned to look at him, “Get the hell out of my house! Don’t ever take that tone with me again!” Steve would roll his eyes, heading back out to his car he’d take it out for a drive. He knew his dad wouldn’t want him returning home any time soon, all because of the fact he spoke up, the fact he stood up for himself. Steve would drive back up to the Starcourt Mall, parking in the parking lot. He would crawl into the backseat of his car. It was only seven PM, but after his long day of work and coming home to his father he was exhausted. Steve would lock the car and curl up, closing his eyes he listened to the people enter and leave Starcourt.
Billy was swearing at Eddie, he saw the dark haired man over by a car that looked much like Steve's, “The fuck are you doing Munson? Don’t tell me you plan on hijacking the vehicle.” Eddie supposed the younger man had a reason to be concerned, he realized he looked pretty sketchy looking in the windows like he was. Eddie huffed, “No, Steve’s in here, I don’t understand why because he has a massive house.” He’d grumble. Billy walked over, grabbing Eddie by the back of his shirt and yanking him from the window. He’d glance in, looking at the male, “The hell..” The blonde banged on the side of the car with his fist till Steve sat up, His hair a mess from sleeping as he unlocked the car, slowly getting out he looked at the two men. “Why are you both staring at me?” Hargrove lit a cigarette, he could care less about the brunette but simply wanted to see what was happening. Eddie piped up, “Why are you sleeping in your car in the mall parking lot..?” Steve looked over at the dark haired metal head, “Why do you ask? Don’t tell me you're concerned because I know neither of you are.” Billy shrugged, “Just curious, did mommy and daddy kick you out?” When Steve didn’t answer, Billy realized he was right. Who would have known Steve the hair Harrington had parental issues. Eddie frowned a bit, “For the night? Or forever?” Steve would grumble tiredly, “The night, they aren’t ever home to realize when I’m there or not so I’ll return when they leave.” Billy raised a brow, his interest peaking in the brunette haired man.
//So far this is all I could muster up writing. If its high enough demand I'll be sure to write some more! Thanks for reading//
An Unusual Trio //Chapter 2- The Malls Regular Freak//
Warnings for this chapter: None ----------------------------------------------------
Steve finally got off his shift, he didn’t bother changing his clothes as he left the Parlor when Robin came in. He’d grumble as he went out into the main area, he wanted to buy new shoes for work, the ones he’s had for a while have slowly started to fall apart. Walking to the Mall’s Chess King Store he’d hoped they would sell shoes, he didn’t have much hope that they would but before he could walk in, having tunnel vision he had bumped into Hawkins Indiana's local ‘freak’, Eddie Munson. Who just happened to be a 20 year old man still stuck in High School. He was supposed to graduate a year before Steve and yet it just didn’t seem to work out for him. Despite the fact that Steve prided himself in his looks and how he’d present himself in school it was hard to ignore Eddie's existence at school. He was loud, and proudly stated his dislikes with the school's cliques. “Sorry Munson, I didn’t mean to bump into you.” Eddie was surprised by the fact that the former popular kid knew who he was. “Oh- No need to apologize Harrington.” Eddie would take a look at Steve's Scoops Ahoy uniform and simply chuckle a bit to himself, “After you graduated I never would have expected King Steve to work at the mall's Ice-cream Parlor. Steve would roll his eyes, “Well I do because my dad made me get a job because my grades sucked and College didn’t seem to want me. You act like you have room to talk, You’ve been held back. What the hell are you even doing here anyway..?” The brunette questioned the man, and Eddie grinned, “I came to go play games at the Arcade. Now that I know the former popular kid works at Scoops Ahoy I might just have to pay a visit or two.. You look cute in those shorts there, Sailor.” The long haired man laughed, pushing past him and continuing over to the escalator leaving Steve dazed and confused as to what just happened. First Billy Hargrove now Eddie Munson? What the hell is going on, why does having an ice-cream job seem to attract so much unwanted attention?
An Unusual Trio /Chapter 1: Ice Cold/
Warnings for this chapter: Swearing, Bullying, Blood -------------------------------------------------
Working at an ice-cream shop in a mall can be really interesting. Steve was watching a fight break out between one of Hawkins newest residents from California break his ex-friend Tommy’s nose. Tommy was screaming all kinds of swears at the muscular blonde and Steve just simply enjoyed the show because he knew damn well that Tommy most likely deserved it. He watched as Security was called to the commotion and Billy had taken off into the Scoops Ahoy to avoid them. Tommy’s broken nose bleeding and Carol screaming as she saw the scrawnier male’s broken nose. Billy took off his leather jacket and held it in his arms in front of him as he walked up to the Scoops Ahoy counter, “You work here Harrington? You got to be fucking kidding me.” The blonde would sneer. “Nice to see you too Hargrove. What did Tommy do this time?” He’d raise a brow, making sure Billy knew he watched what happened incase Billy does something in the ice-cream parlor that he would have to rat him out for. “Why does this concern you, Harrington?” Steve would roll his eyes, “Well Billy you are currently in my workplace I have the right to be worried about customers and my own safety, I saw you do it, and on top of it all I just want to know what Tommy did because he’s a fucking idiot I used to be friends with back in my Sophomore year.” Billy grumbled, “Get me an S.S. Butterscotch and I’ll possibly think about telling you.” The brunette would grumble and grab a plastic boat bowl and scoop the ice-cream into it. Once he decorated it as it was required he’d ring it up and Billy would toss the money onto the counter. Grabbing his ice-cream he simply looked up at the man with the smuggest smirk he could muster up, “He’s annoying and I got tired of listening to him, so I broke his nose.” Steve simply snickered at Billy’s reasoning, “Tell me something I don’t know.”
//This is the end of the first chapter of well my first fanfiction LOL. I don't expect it to be great especially because it was an indecisive decision to write and it ended up being- well this. Let me know what you think in the comments. I'll post what else I wrote for the night//
I’m really going to try to finish editing today. I’m on page 58 of 214 right now, and I only have 8 assignments this week, so I can get away with not doing some of them today.
In other news, Erin and I decided on my next fic--Steve/everyone. It’s not what you think, there will be no threesomes or foursomes or whatever. It will be little ficlets of Steve and everyone. Polyamorous Steve, basically. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.
Next fic? I thought you were on hiatus, Mary? I am. Kind of. I got really bored with these characters, basically just doing the same thing over and over again. That’s why I wrote the Tony/Bucky and am going to start working on a Steve/everyone. Both things I’ve never done before. I just--don’t want to write Steve/Tony or, really, Tony/Bruce right now. I’ve done it so many times. So, I’m not sure if anything will happen after this Steve/everyone, but we’ll see.
