To say that you loved tattoos and different kinds of piercings would be a mild understatement. Your partners never knew but you had a tattoo on your back. Piercings weren't really allowed in SWAT, so you simply had to settle for getting a few tattoos on your body– one of which was a large spinal tattoo of a bunch of flowers aesthetically placed together.
The topic of tattoos never really came up around your partners so you never told them about your tattoo's especially since you'd usually wear T-shirts that would cover up your tattoo.
Until one day the squad was called to an op. Someone had to go undercover and gather intel. The decision on who should go, quickly fell on you. Getting changed into a tight and short red dress, you tried your best to zip it up, before giving up and texting Chris asking her to come to the locker room.
Upon entering Chris saw your tattoo– she looked shocked. "Since when did you have a tattoo?" Chris asked as she quickly helped zip up your dress. "Uh since I was about 20? I got it tattooed on my birthday." You smiled while turning to face her. "I didn't know you were a fan of tattoos." She grinned teasingly poking your side. "There's a lot you don't know about me Chrissy." You grinned in return while kissing her cheek.
"Oh just wait till the others see this–" Chris laughed gleefully. "Till we see what?" Hondo suddenly appeared in the doorway. "Our girl over here apparently has a spinal tattoo." Chris said with a massive smirk while Hondo raised an eyebrow. "A tattoo? Are we talking about the same person who screams at the sight of needles?" Hondo said amused while stepping closer. "Hey that's rude!" You protested while laughing.
Chris then dragged you out by your elbow, grinning from ear to ear as she led you back into the eagles nest. Ignoring your protests as she led you along. Upon seeing you in that dress, both Tan and Street let out whistles. Appreciatively looking you up and down.
"Our girl has a spinal tattoo!" Chris announced proudly to the rest of your partners. Deacon choked on his coffee as he heard those words. "She has a what?" Luca asked baffled while staring at you as if seeing you for the first time.
"Are we talking about the same person who screeches like a banshee upon seeing a needle?" Deacon asked while stepping closer, grinning from ear to ear.
Tan and Street immediately lept up from their seats, circling you like vultures to see your tattoo. "Well I'll be damned! It's real!" Street laughed while tracing one of the flowers with his finger, making you shiver slightly.
Turning around after glaring at Chris, you allowed your partners to gape at your tattoo. "Oh this is good– the legendary Y/n Y/l/n, who screeches at the sight of needles has a massive back tattoo! This is pure gold!" Luca laughed while also stepping closer to see your tattoo. "Are you all done?" You huffed while glaring at your partners over your shoulder. "Not even close." Tan piped up cheerfully, grinning at your annoyed expression.
"You do know that they'll never let this go right?" Hondo asked with a massive grin on his face. "Don't." You huffed while glaring at him. "Oh you brought this upon yourself sweet pea." Hondo grinned while pinching your cheek. "You all suck." You huffed as your partners laughed at your misery. "Awwww we love you too." Luca said teasingly while poking your cheek, ignoring your glares.
I got an idea and I dont know what to do with it, so here we go
What about Street and Reader being in the system together when they were younger and they were so close, like each other's person (childhood sweethearts maybe?)
They eventually got separated growing up, but never forgetting the other
Years later, Street is in the swat and has partners now (poly!20 squad) but never forgets about Reader
They meet again one day and its just so heartwarming
But Reader learned that Street is in a poly relationship and she doesn't to step on boundaries, so she keeps distance until 20 squad are just adopting her into the relationship because if Street loves her that much, there must be reasons right?
Just a little angst to fluffy comfort 🥹
I apologize, I rambled a lot but I got the idea and I had to share it with someone (I hope it makes sense and of course, feel free to not write it!!)
Title : childhood sweethearts
Warnings : just a little bit of angst & miscommunication, i don't know if there's anything else… (if there is pls lmk!!)
a/n : this was soo cute & I loved writing this !! 🥹thank you so much for the request & I hope this is okay :)

You could still remember it like it was yesterday– meeting Street in foster care, when you were both kids. Buck had introduced the two of you, since he thought it would be nice if you met someone who was in a similar situation as you. At first you didn't really trust him, after everything you went through it was hard to trust people. But Street somehow managed to break through all of your walls.
He never gave up on trying to get to know you better, despite how many times you tried to push him away or ignore him. Buck would always joke that the two of you were like two peas in a pod. Soon the two of you became best friends, constantly hanging out together and being around each other.
Until one day after right after high school graduation, Street told you that he'd be following in Buck's footsteps and becoming a police officer. You decided to take a completely different path and become a photographer.
—
Soon Jim moved to Long Beach and joined the police academy, while you headed to New York City to chase your dreams of becoming a photographer. You lost contact with each other, both becoming busy with life and your studies, but you never forgot Street since he was your first true best friend…
From Buck's wife - Jenny, you heard about what happened with Buck and how he was fired, and that Street took Buck's place in SWAT. You were happy for Street even if the two of you didn't contact each other anymore. You still kept in touch with Buck and his wife, they were always so kind and sweet to you treating you as if you were one of their own.
To your shock one day you were contacted by Captain Cortez, she explained that the press wanted to do a piece on SWAT and that she always admired your photography. So she made a deal that the only way she would agree to the interviews and press release was if you were the photographer.
After some quick google searching you discovered that the squad you were supposed to photograph was Street's team— you felt a little giddy at the thought of seeing him again even after so many years…
Street was your first ever boy crush but you never said anything to anyone, the only person who knew was Jenny- Buck's wife. Since she figured it out pretty quickly, but you never had the chance to tell Street, he had plenty of girlfriends in high school, so you felt like you never even had a chance. After packing up all your needed gear, you called Captain Cortez back asking if the offer was still on the table.
Soon after you were on a plane from New York City to LA. Jessica offered to pick you up from the airport, she was also the one who booked a fancy hotel for you, ignoring your protests about how you could do it by yourself. Cortez said that the city was paying for it so why not go all out? The six hour flight went by so fast, you were focusing on writing back some emails and checking if you had everything. This wasn't your first flight but it still felt just as exciting.
After grabbing all your bags from the airport, you were fully prepared to order a ride to the hotel you would be staying at, but to your surprise you saw Captain Cortez waiting for you, upon noticing you her smile widened. "It's nice to finally see you in person Y/n, all those articles about you don't do you justice." She smiled brightly, as you laughed.
"It's nice to meet you Captain, I'm sure we'll get along well." You said with a small smile, as Cortez took off her sunglasses, hiding them into her bag. "Please just call me Jess or Jessica— Captain sounds so formal." She smiled as she grabbed one of your bags from you, leading you towards the underground parking lot. The car ride to your hotel went by fast, you and Jessica got along very well. It turned out you had many shared hobbies. After you were all checked in to the hotel, Jess said her goodbyes as she had to return to the SWAT HQ, but not before promising that someone would pick you up tomorrow bright and early.
Collapsing onto the hotel bed, you let out a soft groan. You were exhausted and it felt so good to just be able to sleep and rest after the long flight. The next day as promised you were picked up from your hotel in a fancy black car and brought to the SWAT HQ, at the entrance you were given a small badge that said "PRESS" on it. Soon you also met Commander Hicks who shook your hand tightly, saying that Cortez was singing praises about your photography.
After a quick walk through the SWAT HQ you were allowed to set up all your gear in a nearby conference room. You spend most of the day following around Jessica, as long as she wasn't called out somewhere. Each time you wanted to photograph 20 Squad they were always busy or called out on a mission. Soon their shift was over and they left before you even got the occasion to see them.
The next day you came to HQ early, hoping to catch 20 squad, before they were called out for a mission. After setting down all your gear in the conference room like yesterday.
Soon you heard voices– and one voice was very familiar. It was Street. Taking a deep breath you headed out of the conference room, camera in hand.
Street was there with his squad, joking around and laughing. Upon hearing footsteps Street looked up and his jaw dropped. "Y/n?" He asked quietly while stepping closer. "In the flesh." You grinned as Street hugged you tightly, lifting you off the ground as he laughed. "Oh Jesus– I thought I'd never see you again." Street laughed while hugging you even tighter.
Then you heard someone clear their throat behind Street. "Not to interrupt but who are you?" A male voice asked, pulling away from Street you saw the legendary Hondo Harrelson. "Oh I'm the photographer– I'm just supposed to photograph your team for that article. Captain Cortez asked me." You said while glancing at Street and then at his entire team.
"Wow you finally became a photographer– who would've thought." Street said teasingly while poking your side. "Ha ha very funny James." You rolled your eyes, you knew he was kidding. "Guys this is my childhood best friend Y/n." Jim smiled proudly as he looked at his team who all nodded in return and one by one introduced themselves, shaking your hand tightly.
Just then they were called out for a mission and Street squeezed your shoulder before promising to catch up to you later. Moving out of the way, you watched as they gathered their gear and quickly ran to the armored truck.
Soon after you found out from Jess that Street was in a poly relationship with his partners. You weren't really that surprised given how they looked at each other, but you knew that all of your hope for reconnecting with Street was probably gone…
Days later you were still at HQ photographing the team along with other SWAT members, you were trying to keep your distance from Street. He of course noticed but didn't say anything yet, he'd just stare at you with those confused puppy dog eyes. You didn't want to overstep anything so you simply kept your distance.
One of the other team leaders of SWAT– Rocker. Brought you "under his wing" he wasn't condescending even if he'd make dry jokes and sarcastic quips from time to time, but he always checked up on you when he could. He never underestimated you, since after he brought you once to the shooting range for fun, he was left stunned upon seeing you hit bullseye each time. Rocker would sometimes call you his "little duckling" in a teasing manner, over time he became somewhat like an older brother.
On one of your last days at SWAT before you had to head back to New York City, Rocker stopped you, pulling you into a corner. "So what's the story between you and Hollywood?" Rocker asked while staring at you intently. "Street and I were childhood friends, we met through Buck." He just nodded along to your words. "How long have you been in love with him?" He suddenly asked, you froze like a deer in headlights, staring at him shocked– was it that easy to tell?!
"Since middle school… but I don't stand a chance. Besides he's in a relationship and he's happy and I won't ruin that for him." You sighed quietly while looking down at the ground. Rocker sighed quietly, looking at you with confusion. "You're the most oblivious person I know Y/l/n." He said before squeezing your shoulder and walking away.
Staring at Rockers retreating figure you just frowned confused. What did he mean by calling you oblivious?!
Soon it was the last day of time in LA, before you had to head back home. Heading around SWAT you took some final shots of the officers there, before heading to the kitchen to grab a drink. Then you overheard your name being mentioned– freezing right before the entrance door to the kitchen, you listened in as you heard Street and his team talking about you.
After a few moments you saw Hondo look up towards the doorway, behind which you were hiding. Knowing that your cover was busted, you slowly entered the kitchen, camera still in hand. "How much did you overhear?" Deacon asked you quietly while crossing his arms against his chest, Street was looking at you with confusion and hurt on his face. Looking down at the floor & avoiding eye contact you spoke quietly. "Enough. I leave tonight so you don't have to worry about me wrecking your relationship, I'll be out of your hair soon enough."
You could hear a pin drop by how silent it was. "Wreck our relationship? What the hell are you even talking about Y/n?!" Street asked confused and hurt. "I'm leaving in a few hours, so you don't have to worry about me getting in between you all and Street." You said while looking at all of them, avoiding looking at Street. "I'll send Captain Cortez the final photos after I get back to NYC." You smiled sadly before nodding and quickly exiting the kitchen, heading towards where you left your gear to pack up. No one followed after you…
Meanwhile the team was standing there shocked since you had misunderstood their words… they didn't want you to leave! They wanted you to join their relationship since they saw how Street looked at you– they wanted you to stay and not leave…
Heading back to the hotel you packed up the rest of your things, including all your camera gear. Sighing softly you looked through the window with the view out into the city. LA had changed so much, maybe you did too…
Soon your phone began ringing, looking at the caller ID, you already knew who was calling– Street. Declining the call, you zipped up your bag, taking one last glance at your hotel room you quickly grabbed all your gear and left for the elevator. After turning in your keycard at the front desk, you said your goodbyes to the hotel staff and got into the taxi that was already waiting to take you to LAX.
The airport was busy as always and you quickly went towards the check in desk, only to hear someone calling out your name. Looking back you saw Street standing there, phone in hand. His hair was all messy as if he'd been running his hands through it nervously. He was out of breath as he stared at you with wide eyes.
"I thought you already left." Street said while trying to catch his breath. "My plane leaves soon so I am leaving." You replied with a small teasing grin. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work?" You asked while frowning, Street shook his head.
"Took some time off. I wanted to talk to you– y'know explain everything, before you go." He said nervously, you just shook your head while squeezing his shoulder. "There's nothing to explain. You don't owe me any explanations." You smiled softly at him while glancing back at the check-in desk. "I should probably go–" You said while nodding your head in the direction of the desk area.
"Stay." Street suddenly interrupted you. "I can't lose you again Y/n. Please just stay–" Street said pleadingly. "I can't… Street I have a life in New York, and you have a life here. We both know I can't stay." You replied while shaking your head. Sighing softly you went to the check-in desk and gave your luggage and all your information, leaving only your small backpack with your camera gear and most important essentials.
You could feel Street staring behind you, but you didn't look back– you couldn't. Since you knew that if you did, you would stay.
The flight back to NYC was uneventful and peaceful. You put in your earphones and played some music before trying to get some sleep. After getting to your apartment you finally turned on your phone to see zero missed calls and no unanswered texts. Jet lag soon got to you, making you pass out exhausted onto the couch.
The next morning you woke up to loud banging on your apartment door. Groaning softly you got up, it was 6 am. Who was at your door at this hour? You had a semi-good idea on who it may be but you told yourself that was impossible.
Grumbling to yourself you unlocked the deadbolt, opening the door you were stood face to face with Street. Rubbing your eyes, you blinked a few times unable to believe who you were seeing. "Street what are you–" Before you could finish your sentence, Street was already pushing past you and walking into your apartment.
Street looked like hell to put it lightly, his hair was a mess as if he'd been running his hand through his hair, like he always did while nervous with bloodshot eyes as if he'd been crying. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in LA at work?" You asked confused while staring at him. "I came to explain something." He said while looking at you with a nervous smile. "Street there is nothing to explain like I said it's fine, just go back to LA." You said quietly, Streets nervous smile turned into a frown. "I don't want to go back to LA before I explain it– can you just let me explain something? After you can kick me out or whatever, just please let me explain something." Street said pleadingly.
Nodding reluctantly you agreed to hear him out. "So what did you want to explain then?" You asked softly, Street nervously looked around your tiny apartment before speaking. "What you overheard in the kitchen at HQ– you misunderstood us. We weren't talking about making you leave or anything… actually we wanted you to stay in LA." Upon seeing your confusion Street continued.
"Y/n I've been in love with you for years– everyone apparently saw it apart from you. The team wants you to come back to LA. You'd have better job opportunities and– and we all love you. Please Y/n just think about it. I'm not saying you immediately have to agree and join the poly relationship but just… think about it. My partners all love you and so do I…" Street said softly, looking at you with those puppy dog eyes that somehow always made you melt inside.
"Are you sure? I don't want to ruin your relationship by joining it." You whispered quietly, looking at Street for reassurance. You knew he'd never lie to you, but you needed to just make sure… His team and partners were all stunning and you'd love to join their relationship but you didn't want to ruin the special thing they all had.
"If I wasn't sure I wouldn't be here." Street grinned at you, smiling so widely you could see the dimples in his cheeks. "Okay." You said softly, upon hearing your words Street pulled you into a bone crushing hug, squeezing you tightly as he held you. "Does this move you'll consider moving to LA?" He asked hopefully.
"I might've already gotten a job offer from a huge newspaper company in LA." You smiled in return and Street hugged you even tighter if that was even possible. "Let me breathe Street–" You managed to gasp out, he immediately loosened his grip on you, apologising. Street couldn't help but smile, he missed you so much and he was so glad you'd at least consider moving back to LA.
"So does this mean that me and my partners can take you out on a proper date? You don't have to decide just yet of course!" Street asked excitedly, he was like an overexcited puppy sometimes. "Sure, but we would need to get back to LA first." You laughed quietly, Street just grinned mysteriously in response.
"Well we might've all taken a few days off to come here…" Street said as his cheeks flushed pink in mild embarrassment. "You're kidding right…?" You laughed while looking at him, waiting to see if he was joking. "Nope. They're waiting in the lobby if you'd like to see them." Street said proudly, your eyes widened but you nodded eagerly.
"Just let me get dressed into proper clothes and then maybe I could show you all around New York?" You suggested as Street's smile brightened even more– if that was even possible. Kissing Street's cheek, you quickly headed into your bedroom to change clothes.
After you were dressed, you grabbed your keys and met Street at the front door where he was waiting eagerly. "You look nice." Street said while wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you close. "Thanks." You just smiled while locking the door.
Heading down the stairs to the main floor, you heard hushed conversations from Street's team– when you finally appeared with Street you could see everyone's gazes snap to you, silently asking the same question. "She said yes to a date." Street smiled brightly while squeezing your shoulder. "And after that we'll see where it all goes." You added with a small smile.
Luca immediately hugged you tightly almost lifting you off the ground. "Welcome to the madness Y/n." Hondo said with an amused smile. "I'm glad you agreed to at least one date since poor Street here was going mad with nerves." Tan said jokingly while Street poked his side annoyed, huffing under his breath that Tan was a liar. Chris just shook her head amused at all the chaos. "So you know any good breakfast spots around here?" Deacon asked with a gentle smile. "Oh I know the best breakfast place ever." You said while finally pulling away from Luca who reluctantly let you go.
Leading the team out of your apartment building you headed towards your favourite breakfast spot– perfect for a first date. Street then caught up to you and nudged your shoulder. "Just like in the old times hm?" He said teasingly, grinning at you as he looked around.
When you and Street were much younger and still in foster care, Buck would always take the two of you out for breakfast on Saturdays, it was a weekly ritual you never skipped.
"Just like the old times, with even better company." You smiled back while glancing back at Street's team that was still following you.

Being sick was the worst thing ever. You could already feel the headache coming, but you couldn't really do anything since you were still at work. You saw all of your partners shooting you concerned looks but you simply ignored their looks and tried to focus on your job.
Soon you began to feel very dizzy and unwell. After briefing was over, you immediately headed to the locker rooms. Leaning against the bathroom wall, you tried to take deep breaths so you wouldn't throw up or pass out. Your partners noticed you suddenly leaving and Chris immediately went after you.
"Y/n?" Chris voice was gentle as she knocked on the bathroom door. "'M fine–" You immediately said, your voice was weak and uncertain. You weren't fine but you didn't want to admit that you were sick to your partners. "That's bullshit and you know it." Chris sighed softly while trying to open the door. "Open the door sweetheart." Chris said quietly, standing up properly you unlocked the door which Chris immediately pushed open.
Upon seeing you Chris immediately checked your temperature by putting a hand on your forehead. "You look like hell." Chris said bluntly. "Thanks Chrissy." You smiled weakly. Chris immediately pulled you up and out of the bathroom, leading you back towards the briefing room.
Realising what she was trying to do, you let out a groan while trying to pull away. "Chris no–" You tried to say as she shot you a glare over her shoulder. "Oh yes, sweetheart. You're not getting out of this– we're taking you home, you're sick and burning up." When you tried to protest Chris shot you a worried glance and shook her head, silently telling you not to argue with her.
Just then your partners noticed Chris dragging you along, Hondo frowned as he saw sick you looked. "This one here tried to hide that she's sick." Chris said sharing a glance with Deacon who raised an eyebrow. "How long have you felt sick for?" Deacon asked while stepping closer and wrapping an arm around your waist to keep you up.
"A while…?" You said while trying to focus on their voices. "Damn Bambi we better get you home before you collapse over your own two feet." Tan said half-teasingly, trying to hide how worried he was. "I'll go talk to Hicks to see if we can get a day off–" Hondo immediately said while heading to track down Hicks. "'M fine I promise!" You tried to protest as Luca shot you an unamused glance. "You're worse than Street when he gets sick." Luca huffed as Street spluttered offended.
"Hey I'm not that bad right?!" Street looked at all of you with his signature puppy dog eyes. "Yes you are." You and Tan replied immediately, neither of you bothering to sugarcoat anything.
Soon Hondo returned saying that Hicks had agreed to give you all a day off. Chris and Street immediately went to the locker room to grab everyone's stuff. "Do you feel like you can walk?" Deacon asked while brushing a few messy strands away from your sweaty forehead.
Before you could reply, Luca had picked you up bridal style. Letting out a small surprised squeal you stared at Luca offended. "I can walk." You huffed annoyed. "Sure you can princess." Hondo replied while leading you all towards the exit.
After getting home, all your partners refused to let you do anything. Chris picked out some comfortable clothes for you to change in before she forced you to lay down and tucked you in, ignoring all your protests that you're fine.
You weren't fine. You were the furthest thing from fine, your head was hurting and you felt sick. Soon Street appeared in the doorway, holding a cup of tea. Carefully sitting down next to you, he handed you the cup of tea and watched you with a small worried frown. "'M fine Street." You said quietly while reaching over to squeeze his hand gently. Street sighed while looking down at the blankets. "Are you really?" His voice was soft as he looked at concerned.
"Just please don't hide stuff like this from us anymore okay? We're all worried about you." You simply nodded in response while Street tucked the blankets closer around you. "Stay with me?" You asked quietly while putting the now empty cup onto the nightstand.
"Always." Street grinned before quickly stripping out of his work uniform and changing into some sweats. Climbing into bed, he pulled you closer, allowing you to curl up against him.
A while later the door slowly opened and Hondo appeared, looking amused upon seeing you curled up against Street asleep. "How is she?" Hondo asked quietly while stepping further into the room and closing the door behind him. "Out like a light, fell asleep pretty fast. But she still has a fever." Street whispered quietly while brushing the hair out of your sweaty forehead.
Hondo sighed quietly while sitting down next to you and Street. "She'll be okay y'know." Hondo said while squeezing Street's shoulder. "I know, I know– I just can't help but worry about her." He said quietly while looking down at your sleeping face. You looked so peaceful. "Why don't you stay with her and I'll try and make something she can eat– you know how Y/n gets when she's sick." Hondo said while standing up and after kissing Street's forehead he quickly left to go prepare some food for you to eat.
Hours later you finally woke up and look around confused, the room was dark and the blinds were shut. Street was gone and the room was empty. Letting out a small groan you stood up and slowly walked out of the room and towards the living room.
Tan was the first to notice you, as he immediately stood up to check on you. "Why aren't you in bed?" He asked quietly, while exchanging a glance with your partners. "I didn't want to be alone." You said softly while leaning against him. Sighing quietly Tan helped you sit down on the couch in between him and Luca. Soon after Hondo joined you all with a steaming bowl of chicken soup for you to eat.
Hours passed and you stayed curled up against Luca, your partners turned on some action movie but no one was really paying attention to it. Your temperature was slowly going down but still you weren't feeling that good, but you knew your partners where there to take care of you.
I am ruined by you.. thx for that all your swat first have been read 4-6 times in the past 3 weeks.
Anyway I hope your requests are open.... if not please disregard.

It started out with a conversation you had with your best friend. She asked if you ever called your partners by their official titles. When you replied that you hadn't tried that, she just laughed asking if you could imagine their reactions to being called by their titles.
That's when the idea started to grow in your head…
You always loved teasing and pranking your partners, since it was very entertaining to see them all get annoyed and frustrated. Especially when one of them would scream your name at the top of their lungs after discovering a new prank you had just pulled.
Soon you saw your chance when Street was getting ready for work, you hugged him from behind placing kisses all over his bare shoulders and neck. Street let out a small groan as he pulled away turning to face you. “Y/n, you know that I have to go to work soon…” You just pouted in response, pretending to be upset.
“I’m sorry Officer Street.” You said while doing your best ‘I’m innocent’ look. Street’s eyes widened upon hearing his title come from your lips, his cheeks flushed red as he quickly pulled on his t-shirt. Trying to ignore the urge to push you against the wall and kiss you til your lips were all red and swollen.
Giggling quietly to yourself you quickly left the room. Street ran a hand through his hair sighing deeply, you were going to be insufferable now that you used his tittle once–
When you got downstairs you noticed that Deacon had made everyone a cup of coffee. Upon noticing you in the doorway Deac held out your favourite mug in your direction. “Here you go trouble, just how you like it.” He winked at you while hanging you the coffee. “Thanks Sarge.” You giggled while kissing his jaw.
Deacon's eyes widened upon hearing his title and your giggling as you walked away towards the living room. “Little minx.” He muttered amused while shaking his head, trying to hide the blush that had appeared on his cheeks.
Next it was Chris's turn– the two of you were arguing about what movie to watch and you saw your chance. “You have such an awful taste in movies Y/n!” Chris said while laughing. “Oh, says you, Officer Alonso!” You stuck out your tongue and took your chance to tackle Chris to the couch to grab the TV remote.
Giggling you turned the TV channel onto the movie you wanted to watch, grinning proudly as you stared down at Chris who was blushing. The rest of your partners just stared amused.
Then you decided to target Luca. It was pretty easy, you decided to bake some cookies for the entire SWAT team. Grinning from ear to ear you immediately went to go find your partners, placing the container with the cookies onto the kitchen counter at HQ. You went off to find your partners, passing Street and Deacon on the way and after telling them that you brought the team's favourite cookies, they practically ran into the kitchen. Yelling their thanks as they passed by you.
You saw Luca in the armoury, leaning against the doorway you grinned from ear to ear before clearing your throat. “Well hello there Officer Luca”. You grinned while stepping closer into the armoury. Luca's head immediately shot up as he stared at you, he had never heard you use his title… but he couldn't deny it was hot.
Luca pulled you into his arms as he kissed your cheek. “Officer hm? That's new.” Luca grinned, while looking down at you. “What? You don't like it?” You asked innocently. “I brought some cookies.” You said giggling. “And I thought I'd visit my favourite officer.” You added while kissing him on the lips before pulling away.
Tan was next. It was easy to tease him, since he always got so blushy and tried to act nonchalant like your teasing wasn't affecting him. You asked him to teach you some new sparring tricks, for self defence and Tan was very enthusiastic when he heard that. Your eyes were sparkling with mischief since you knew it would be his turn. You couldn't wait to see his cheeks go all red.
After Tan managed to tackle you to the ground many times, you gave up on learning the new trick. Panting you laid on the mat, glaring at him playfully. “You're a menace, Officer Tan.” You laughed while poking his shin with your foot. “Says you princess.” Victor tried to laugh it off and hide the blush that was growing on his face. “Awww is that a blush I see Officer?” You asked teasingly, grinning as Tan shot you a scathing glare.
Hondo was the hardest. Finding the right time to tease him was hard. Since he was constantly busy with meetings, missions and training you barely had the chance to talk to him.
The rest of the team was already in bed when Hondo came home. To your confusion instead of heading to the bedroom, Hondo headed into the study. Groaning softly, you untangled yourself from your partner's grip. Padding across the hallway you silently opened the door to the study. Hondo was there sitting at the desk, filling out some papers. He hadn't heard you come in yet.
Grinning to yourself you knew this was your chance. Sneaking behind him you wrapped your arms around his neck, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck. “Evening Sargeant.” You whispered into his ear, giggling as Hondo jumped. “Shouldn't you be in bed Missy?” Hondo asked amused while putting the paperwork away and manhandling you so that you were sitting sideways in his lap.
“Mmm could ask you the same Sarge.” You smirked, while leaning against him. Hondo sighed quietly while pulling you even closer, pressing a soft kiss to the top of his head. “‘M sorry Darlin’ for not being around so much.” Hondo whispered into your ear. “‘S okay. I know you're busy, missed you though.” You mumbled while shifting in his lap slightly to get more comfortable.
“Wanna stay with me for a bit while I finish this?” Hondo asked quietly while looking at you with those soft brown eyes. “Course I will Sarge.” You said amused while pressing a small kiss to his lips. “It's my turn now isn't it? You've been all of us by our titles recently.” Hondo chuckled amused. “Sneaky little minx.” He added while pinching your hip teasingly, making you squeal as you glared at him, pretending to be offended.
“Love you.” You mumbled while leaning against him even more and closing your eyes. “I love you too.” Hondo whispered while kissing your forehead, staring down at you lovingly as you tried to sleep. Hondo pulled you even closer as you fell asleep in his lap. A while later he carried you to bed, before climbing in himself and glancing at your partners one last time he also fell asleep.
He loved you and the team so much. Even if you all got on his nerves a lot, but that didn't change how much he loved you.
summary : rent in LA isn't cheap on top of being a rookie in the SWAT academy, the payments are slowly drowning you. so you return to the only thing you know so well to survive… working in the club. everything is going fine until you meet a group of unusual clients, who always ask for you.
Walking into the private room, you could tell that your new clients were as you liked to say "first timers" they probably hadn't been at this sort of club before or they were all just super nervous. Five men and one woman and by just one glance you could tell that they were dating each other, it was very obvious.
One of the men– an older one with a salt and pepper hair and bear looked so familiar, but you couldn't place where you had seen him before. Putting on your signature flirty smile, you began dancing. After your 'routine' was over you changed places with Sydney, who took your place at the pole.
Approaching the group you leaned in so that they'd hear you through the music. "Can I get ya'll something?" You asked with a flirty smile, looking over at all of them. The man with brown hair and a dimpled smile, grinned at you, shamelessly ogling you. The bald man next to him, smacked him upside the head. "Just a few beers would be nice sweetheart." The blonde man with massive biceps piped up, grinning at you.
Nodding you walked out of the private room, heading towards the bar to order those beers. Suddenly the club bouncer appeared next to you. "You okay Candy?" He asked while leaning in to whisper into your ear. "I'm fine don't worry, Sydney came in so I'm not all alone. They are actually pretty nice– I could feel one of them ogling me though." You giggled, glancing at the bartender waiting for those drinks. The club bouncer rolled his eyes affectionately, mumbling something about you having too much faith in people, before squeezing your shoulder and leaving.
After you grabbed the tray of beers you headed back into the private room and placed all of the beers onto the table. Sydney was gone by the time you got there, but you knew she was somewhere close by. "Can I get y'all something else?" You asked with that flirty smile. "Just your number would be fine." The man with brown hair and a dimpled smile said while his partners rolled their eyes. "Street behave." The one with salt and pepper in his hair and beard said, shooting a glare at the other man.
"I'm sorry for his behaviour– he's not usually that much of an animal." The woman said with a small smile, while shooting a glare at the man. "Ahhh well I've dealt with worse so don't worry about him." You smiled back, it was refreshing for someone to apologise since you were used to people just being rude or inappropriate without even apologising or admitting that they were wrong.
"Well I'll leave you all to it. If you need any more drinks or something just feel free to ask one of the girls here. There's a tab already opened for you." You smiled politely while heading towards the door, before someone's hand shot out to stop you. "What's your name Darlin'?" The bald man asked while looking directly at you. "Candy. You can just call me Candy." You smiled while pulling away and leaving the room, taking a deep sigh of relief as you left the private room.
"You okay?" Your boss suddenly appeared next to you, looking you up and down concerned. "Yeah 'm fine don't worry– just a little tired but I'll manage." You smiled trying to reassure him, your boss didn't look too convinced. "Go home Candy, Sydney will cover for you and I've already asked one of the other girls to step in for you. Get some rest and I'll see you in a bit 'kay? No arguing, you don't look so good. I'll give you, your paycheck next time, just go home Candy." You boss said while squeezing your shoulder, gently pushing you towards the 'locker rooms'.
You knew it was pointless to argue, so you quickly headed into the 'locker rooms' to get changed.
After deciding to shower at home, you quickly took off your clothes and changed into sweats. Before taking off your makeup and wiping off all the glitter from your body. Looking around to make sure you have everything, you exited through the back door of the club where your car was parked.
After arriving home, you took a long hot shower allowing all your tense muscles to relax. Glancing over at your bedside clock, you noticed how you only had a few hours before you had to head to the academy. Getting into bed you quickly fell asleep, thinking about today's clients. They weren't demanding or being inappropriate or anything of that sort– but for some reason they had caught your attention.
Especially the one with the salt & pepper beard and hair, he seemed so familiar but you could put your finger on where you had seen him before, or maybe it was just your imagination playing games on you.
!! please note that these are just MY headcanons so keep that in mind while reading !!
this is super short :/
I like to think of poly!20 squad using Y/n as a distraction– for example when they need intel on someone/something, they send her in to act all "innocently curious" as she asks a milion questions, since no one would really blame a pretty girl for such an awful crime/robbery/or whatever right??
Hondo and Deacon are the masterminds behind each OP
Luca is the getaway driver/on the lookout incase anything goes wrong
Tan is either the hacker or taking part in the crime with Street & Chris
Since the two bosses (Hondo & Deac) wouldn't want to get their hands dirty ;) (they'd rather stay home and take care of their girl)
They all like to take you out to celebrate after a successful OP
(they're criminals not monsters.)
Chris loves helping you get ready to scout out information
she loves standing between your thighs as you sit on the bathroom counter as she does your makeup (and steals kisses in between)
Street always buys expensive gifts for you for no reason, even if you try to refuse the gifts somehow find their place in your wardrobe
Luca loves taking you out for late night drives with one of the cars– since they have quite a collection of cars bought
Tan always makes sure you are safe and he checks up on you before and after each OP
Even if someone usually stays with you, he can't help it.
They always make sure you're safe & loved.
And they make sure that no one touches what belongs to them ;)
