Calling all polyamorous!

Hey guys! My boyfriend recently came to me with the realization that he is polyamorous. I however am very mono-amorous. Originally I didn't think I could ever be okay with a poly relationship, but after a week apart, I've decided to give it a very serious shot, and take steps with the love of my life to ensure all of our needs are met. That said, I need your help. I know I've been socialized into a mono way of thinking my entire life, and I know I need to be open to this new dynamic for our relationship to succeed, and I need to truly accept it, no faking. If you have experience with a mono/poly relationship, if you are poly whether you've always known you are or if you've discovered it later in life, please send me any and all advice to help our relationship! We are also looking for a counselor who has experience in assisting mono/poly couples, so if you have any leads on that, please help out! Thank you so much!
