Y/N = Your name

You wake up to the sun shining in your face. You hide under the covers. "Get up, Y/N," says a familiar voice. A groan leaves your lips. "Come on, don't make me have to carry you." You say, "Go back to your room, Jean. It's too early for all this nonsense."
A few seconds later, the covers are pulled off of you. Jean picks you up and puts you on his shoulders. The room is spinning. "Jean! Put me down!" You yell. "Nope. Not until you're up." He says as he spins you. You finally give in and yell "Okay! Okay! I'm up! Just please stop spinning me around!"
He stops, but still holds you in place. "Are you going to keep me like this?" You ask. "Sorry, but I have to. I can't let you go back to bed," Jean says. Then he walks into the living room with you. Once you two arrive, he crouches down and you slide off of him. You pout and cross your arms.
"Aww you're so cute when you pout." Jean says before squishing your cheeks. Before you could say anything, the front door opens. It's Connie holding pool noodles and floaties. "H-Hey Connie. Why do you have floaties and other.... things?" You ask awkwardly. "Well I'm glad you asked," he says as he sets the objects on the table.
"Because we," Connie says while motioning Jean towards him. "We're going swimming!" They both chant. You're confused until Jean clears everything up. "Listen, lately we've noticed how much you talk about anything that relates to water. Whether it be sea life, lakes, oceans, etc. So we decided to surprise you by taking you to a water park.''
''Um... I don't know about that. I just got my hair done and I don't want to mess it up. Plus I can't swim. Sorry guys,'' you say with fake disappointment. The two boys look disappointed. You start laughing and yell ''Just kidding!'' ''About what? Your hair or the pool?'' Connie asks and Jean face palms. ''Hehe both you goofball. I've known how to swim since I was five and it's wash day. So its a win-win in my book,'' you say before gently rubbing his head.
He blushes and Jean rolls his eyes with a smirk. After all the excitement, the three of you shower, get dressed and eat breakfast. Once breakfast ends, all of you prepare the car with your items. "Who's driving?" Connie asks. "Jean," you reply. "Why am I always the driver?" Jean asks.
"A, I was the driver a few days ago. And B, the last time Connie drove. The three of us almost didn't make it back in one piece," you said. "Oh, come on! I wasn't that bad!" Connie interjected. "Tell that to everyone on road," you replied. Jean sighed before saying, "Okay, fine. I'll do it."
Soon after that, you guys were on the road. Connie stuck his arm out the window in the backseat and the strong wind was blowing through the car. "Connie put your arm back in. The AC is on!" Jean said. Connie put his arm back in and rolled the window up. He looked so bored. You came up with an idea and whispered it into his ear.
You two had a drawing contest. Your art skills were better than his and he kept losing each round. He crumpled up his paper and threw it at you. You were shocked, so you did the same thing. What was supposed to be a fun art contest turned into a paper war zone. Laughter and flying utensils filled the backseat.
Connie threw a paper ball at you and you hit it with your notebook. Which ended up hitting Jean's cheek. "Will you two stop throwing paper balls?!" Jean yelled. Both of you gathered yourselves together and stayed silent for the rest of the ride.
Once the three of you arrived and paid the admission price. All of you headed to the pool to swim for a bit. Jean approached you and asked ''Hey. Do you want to go to the hot tub?'' ''Sure,'' you replied. Jean looked so happy, but then he looked scared. He yelped and held on to you tightly. You were concerned at first, but that went away when someone emerged from the water. Connie.
''Haha. Gotcha!'' He laughed. ''Not cool, man!'' Jean yelled as he pushed his friend. ''Hey. Hey. There's no need to fight!'' You said as you broke both of them up. ''Why are you mad at me? I was joking,'' Connie said. ''Well I'm not in the mood to joke around,'' Jean said before walking away. ''Jean! Come back!'' You yelled. Before you could go after him, Connie stopped you. Maybe giving him some space would be good for him.
In the meantime, both of you went on a few water slides and played games. As much as it was fun, you couldn't help but feel sorry for your other friend. As soon as both of you get all the energy out of your systems. Both of you head to the hot tub. Jean's eyes are closed, and he's lightly snoring. Connie enters the hot tub. You do the same.
''Wake up, sleepy head,'' you say as you gently shake him. He wakes up and yawns. ''What are you doing here?'' He asks sleepily. ''I promised you, we'd go to the hot tub. Here we are,'' you say as you boop his nose. He blushes and you laugh. "Hey man. I'm sorry about earlier. Sometimes I get a little carried away with my pranks," said Connie.
"Thanks, man. I'm sorry I snapped at you," Jean said. The boys did their signature handshake and laughed. You smiled and suggested the three of you go home. The boys agreed, and all of you gathered your things and left. When you guys made it home, you took a shower first, then changed into your pajamas.
While the boys showered and changed into their pajamas. You prepared leftovers for dinner since you were exhausted. Once the boys were done getting changed, they ate dinner with you and watched TV. Connie went into the kitchen to wash the dishes after everyone was done eating.
You rested your head in Jean's lap and drifted to sleep. Jean smiled to himself and gently rubbed your head. "Sleep tight Y/N," he whispered. You smiled in your sleep.

What polyaffectionate relationships have in common with other polyamorous relationships is that people will say things like, “Wait!! I saw you or heard of you doing X with person B!?? But I thought you were with person A!!?” The distinction is whether it’s true that the X implies a sexual relationship. Because people don’t mostly have sex in public regardless of the character of their relationship, people try to guess the character of relationships from the actions they do see publicly. Polyamorous relationships that involve sex can be correctly identified as sexual but then ignorant or controlling assumptions are made based on that. With polyaffectionate relationships the character of the public dimension of the relationship can lead to them being misidentified as sexual, which is disturbing as a misidentification as well as making them subject to the same social pressures as other polyamorous relationships.
