I told G what a unicorn was and he joked that it made us unicorn hunters.
After signing up on Tinder and presenting myself as a bi poly woman (I’m also dating solo), I see how hunting kinda sucks for the unicorn.
5 minutes into the poly lifestyle and I’ve been aggressively hit on by several couples with strict rules who got upset that I have a husband and stopped replying.
I understand that some people have a specific ideal for their relationship and that is fine.
Being upfront about it is also fine but the ‘hunters’ I’ve talked to should really reconsider their approach.

Hey y'all! If my polyamory posts dwindle down, that's because I made a blog specific for my adventures in the polyamory lifestyle.
lunastriad
I know I wrote previously about my boyfriend and girlfriend using initials, but lets have it a bit more personal :3
luna = R-me, would call myself wolfie, but that'd get confusing ;p
wolf = C-boyfriend of 5+ years, my primary
kitsune = K- me n wolf's unicorn! (bisexual woman who is dating a couple) ^3^
Also, a bit of a side note on how I view the primary and secondary roles. To me, since Wolf and I have been in a long term, committed relationship, he is my primary, he has the most important spot in my heart. But that spot is only for him, I can't love any other person the same as him. With Kitsune, she's new for me, in almost every aspect. I've never dated or even been with a girl, and I've only had one relationship, the one with Wolf. But she has a special spot in my heart as well. They both are equal in our relationship as in the three of us are treated equally, but - well this sounds childish (and it probably is...) I was his first. We all with be equals, just my relationship with Wolf won't change at all- ... I know I'm a tad confusing to follow... It's hard to get my words down right.. glad Wolf understands that, Kit's getting used to my randomness ^^"
Sooo, comin out of the tumblr closet...
Yeah, if anyone cant tell by now, I'm polyamorous - and I'm in my first poly relationship. This was difficult for me because not only am I in a committed relationship with my boyfriend of 5 years, I also have ASD and anxiety/depression issues to bring some chaos to the party. I forgot to mention that my boyfriend has been my only boyfriend, so me and socializing aren't my forte.
Thing is, me n C (boyfriend) already talked about our curiosity of polyamory - we both agreed that it has to be mutual and it can only be a girl. Now, before anyone starts flaming cause of C's rule let me explain: he has had a history of cheating girlfriends and is paranoid, always thinking I'd leave him for someone better (ain't anxiety fun y'all -hint hint sarcasm-) but I agreed to it because I'm incredibly shy around new people - especially guys when I find out they have any feelings for me (and that my mentality is more wolfish as in "i already have a mate") - plus I wanted to explore my bicuriosity.
Well, with that hurdle cleared, we moved onto the next (after meeting our unicorn - lets call heeerrr....K , agreeing to be in an equal relationship. It was a hurdle for me because, as C would like to put it, his paranoia rubbed off onto me - i was worried that i'd become second to him, i needed to hear from him that nothing would change between us. So me, K, and C hit it off - and when she picked him up (from NOLA) she brought him to Ruston (nothern louisiana - where i go to school) for the night before whisking him away to Virginia. The usual anxiety/ASD moment happened with me, I avoided eye contact, minimal physical contact, speaking in puzzles.. all my years of training myself to function as normal as i could socially went straight out the window... but we all had fun at the hotel room, i brought noms n my xbox for gaming n movies and i got to give C his late 22nd bday gift - sake! ..
yeah, that night was fun.. so now instead of all 3 of us being long distance, i'm the only long distance party.. its lonely, and being in a different time zone doesnt help... but itll get better :3
