Not letting anyone forget that in The Wild Brood, Fred tells Odnarb he goes by "Fred", unless they're dating, then it's "Freddie".

Daphne calls him Freddy all the time. In multiple episodes like the literal second episode The Creeping Creatures Shaggy calls him "Freddie". In The Menacing Manticore Velma calls him "Freddie."

…and in In Fear of the Phantom Scooby calls him "Freddie" too.

On the topic of polydoo, Fred may have been considering inviting Rung Ladderton to the polycule.

The whole noticing each other’s ascots, putting his ascot on Ladderton & vice versa and complimenting how it looked?

It didn’t fly under the radar.
