i love the idea of her needing to pee, but the rest of afterglow not acknowledging it, seeming too busy to give her a break. they have a practice session right after school, himari tries to run to the bathroom before they go to circle, but tomoe tells her they're in a hurry. and it feels like ran has it out against her when they practice, choosing songs with the most complicated bass lines, making her stop and retry over and over. and when she works up a sweat, of course she needs to drink more water. when practice is over she finally thinks she's free, and she quickly packs up, her legs trembling slightly, glad that she can finally get some release. but tsugu, kind and caring as always, reminds the group that they agreed to stay late and help marina clean up the practice rooms. when himari tries to step away, moca pokes at her tummy and teases her for trying to get out of it, which only makes her double over as she forces out a laugh. when moca slides a hand across her stomach, she knows they're doing this to her on purpose. and so she resigns herself to cleaning, shuffling around the room, hardly able to do anything more than move a music stand or two, slowly, beginning to space out from the pure need she feels. when tomoe bumps into her, sending her tumbling forward, she just gives up. she falls to the floor as she lets go, pushing her skirt between her legs, trying to soak up as much of the mess as she can. it's so embarrassing, she thinks, not able to look up at her friends who are definitely staring at her, watching what they've done. and of course it's tsugu who cards a hand through her hair, coos at her, and tells her they're sorry, but she looked so cute walking around so desperately. and it's moca who teases her and tells her she needs to clean up the mess she made.

She's a cute little thing, that Polyglow. Only 5'0" and adorably plump. She doesn't look like your typical superhero, but did you really think superheroes looked like what you see in the movies? Of course not. It's illogical really. Having super strength doesn't give you muscles. Your muscles get bigger from working out, but who the fuck works out if they've already got the gift of super strength?
