What Peter Potamus wouldn't give for some quality time with some native diver gals in Polynesia Uncharted!
Peter Potamus is doubtless the first to admit, acknowledge even, that the uncharted Polynesians probably have the right idea when it comes to swimming among dolphins: Actually swimming among them in Nature, preferably naked, and letting them introduce you to some interesting underwater experiences and adventures. Is it any wonder such peoples have perhaps the most perfect display of the dolphin/human interrelationship bound to make Flipper jealous?
Thus doth Peter Potamus explain a uniquely spiritual side of Polynesia Uncharted to his nephew, Pat Potamus, ahead of a dive
"Patrick, what we're about to dive to may be a little unusual to you, but to the natives of such an interesting paradise, such amounts to the spiritual.
"I'm talking about an underwater tiki shrine ... and on occasion, the natives, in their sheer and natural nakedness, will dive down and offer what amounts to silent prayers to its spirits. And try not to be surprised if the statue happens to ejaculate oh so suddenly into the water...."
And Peter Potamus can relate tales galore of Polynesian natives in its uncharted reaches who enjoy the playful companionship of dolphins in their pure and natural nakedness.
What could be more fascinating unto Peter Potamus (and, perhaps, his hosts in Polynesia Uncharted's rather wonderful orisons) than to actually swim among dolphins in a most natural manner ... not to mention the dolphins themselves actually being most accepting of such company?
Peter Potamus' Most Unforgettable Diving Companion
(appy polly loggies to Reader's Digest for concept)
"In this case, I would have to be considered the diving companion more than anything.
"This happened some years ago in my younger days, coming off the loss of my much-loved father, Perry Potamus, whose Magic Balloon I subsequently inherited, not to mention engendering in me a love for, and fascination towards, certain native peoples in certain unmapped parts of the Polynesian. And it came at a time when I felt like I needed some serious rediscovery of my diving schtick.
"Landing near some rather isolated Polynesian islands, the name and locale of which will not be disclosed in keeping with native wishes, I was able to make my presence known and get back into some serious acquaintenance with a most delightfully esoteric side of the Polynesian such as knows nakedness to be what Nature intended, especially when out diving and surfing ... and knows sexuality to be a perfectly natural and normal experience which feels just so wonderful, to begin with!
"At any rate, I was meeting with the youngish son of a local chieftain, who was second in line to the title, when I was visiting said chieftain one afternoon to pass the time. Admittedly, the chieftain and kin were rather impressed by this hippo's rather wonderfully naked and at once toned body, acknowledging such was in deference to the local custom. The chieftain couldn't have concurred more! And for some reason, this chief's youngish son, who was likely ten or eleven, wanted me joining him on a dive into a nearby lagoon which had some especially wonderful-looking coral reefs.
"And did I join him--mind you, I was doing this to get back into the swim of things, so to speak, after the loss of my father--and even if it was the second-in-line of succession to the local chieftain, his wanting to lead me on such a dive as this couldn't have been more welcoming relief from the emotion I was managing otherwise to hide all the more! And what an experience the sight of that very reef was, complemented by the sensation of just wearing yourself in such tropically fascinating waters! And even a dolphin swimming up to our side made the dive even more fascinating; it seemed this particular dolphin who was resident to this particular lagoon couldn't help but appreciate our company on the dive!
"Somehow, this particular heir to a chieftain's title on a particular stretch of otherwise unknown Polynesia couldn't help but be impressed--IMPRESSED!!--at my diving prowess, which led me to remark, 'After all, hippopotamii are rather natural swimmers by birth!'
"'I happen to like you for that remark' was how the chieftain's son responded, and yet in a complementary sort of way. Which had us chuckling, even as the chieftain's son was quick to add that he learned diving practically within days of birth, adding such was quite natural among the natives.
"That I took as a complement. To which I asked him how deep the younger natives could dive, to begin with; he replied that he was aware of two-year-olds diving down to as much as two fathoms, and by the age of six, many native kids have dived to as deep as five fathoms. 'How incredible can that get?' asked I, which had the chieftain's son remarking that 'such is pretty normal when you're so close to Nature as you are here--imagine, the underwater world as such a fascinating playground of sorts!'
"Who wouldn't concur more?"

And I understand Peter Potamus has actually ridden on sea turtles not unlike these, after the fashion of naked natives of Polynesia Uncharted. The turtles, I understand, didn't mind the company.
Leave it to Peter Potamus to relate much in the way of fascinating stories from Polynesia Uncharted about just how close and wonderful the dolphin-human relationship can get, and in an especially natural setting besides.
In particular, such tales as are bound to make Flipper jealous when you consider where Polynesia Uncharted's dolphins show such a wonderful admiration for the natives' sheer and unabashed nakedness.
