ive been watching a lot of Polynesian dance videos on youtube and i think some of my favorites are the m/f duets because the majority of them seem to have a similar theme: one person does some sweet exciting leg work or hip shimmying while the other does the will smith pose and they trade back and forth. its like “check out the bae arent they awesome” the musical

I can't wait till my little niecey learns traditional Polynesian dancing. There's no real chance for her to learn Aboriginal dancing so I'm hoping she'll get the chance to learn another side of her heritage.

Today I picked up my old Pareo that's been sitting around my apt. for 4 years and I decided to give it a shake!  My moves are rusty and I'm a bit stiff and my hands are all over the place...But I hope this inspires you to get up and move!!!!!  I love the art of all dance...I love tahitian dancing...! I fused some other steps that I've picked up along the years and gave it a tahitian twist....Enjoy

Just got back from an amazing show! If you're in a Polynesian dance group you KNOW how amazing it feels to dance in new & improved costumes! We finally upgraded our Otea costume and it is beautiful! Anyways, gotta say, I got mad love for my halau ❤ Taupou Samoa for lyyyyfe! Haha.
