What makes you guys happiest?
Sigh
Toddlers. Small creatures that think it's fun to run around without a diaper on. Little Yu-na is currently giggling as she dashes around the hallway walls. Abby is chasing her on all fours. There's no way he can catch her on two.
"Get back here, young lady!" He yells after her as he smiles. A diaper stuffed into his shirt so he wouldn't drop it.
She flies down the stairs, tumbles, and continues to run. Demon children are very durable. And it takes a lot for them to feel physical pain. It's just a matter of how dramatic they are.
Yu-na mischievously giggles and runs into the kitchen. Running through the doggy/cat door and into the backyard. She really didn't like the potty training attempt.
Abby opens the door and chases after her some more. That little hell spawn is faster than a damn cheetah. She had him literally going all over the place.
He reached a point where he didn't know where she went and got a little...worried. Yeah, she's a demon child. She can rip apart any animal she perceives as a threat. But there's just one little problem.
Yu-na is the sweetest girl.
She'll go up to a roaring lion and attempt to pet it. Chae-won, Ji-a, and Do-yoon at least have the common sense to understand that a roar or growl means danger.
Not her.
She'll pet the lion and only realize she's in danger when she's bitten. And even if there are no wild animals around here, she can get stuck in something.
So, over thirty minutes worth of quick, frantic searching, he finally found her in a clearing. Butterflies dancing around her head. It's a beautiful scene, really.
Her giggles dance across the air as a white butterfly sits on top of her nose. She attempts to grab it, but it flutters away and flaps around with the others.
Are they...playing with her?
She jumps up to try to snatch any of them before they can fly away. Not to kill them. Just to see them up close within her hands.
He pants as he watches the adorable display. Wiping the sweat off his brow with his forearm before getting down on all fours again. Slowly, he stalks toward her.
Letting her infectious laughter fall free some more before he gently pounces on her. She lets out a happy squeal before trying to rush off again. But this time, he has a firm but gentle grip on her.
After wrangling her diaper on...he stays there with her. Catching a few butterflies with his own hands to show them fluttering within his closed palms.

Ty watched them go with a smile before going back to the task at hand. He's got it, Ty is sure of it. He adjusts Ha-joon on his shoulder before sitting down next to his daughter.
Min-seo is at the kitchen table with him, working on equations. Math. Her most hated subject.
"Why do I have to do this?!" She whined, "We're rich! Can't you just buy my way through school?"
"Absolutely not. We're raising smart children. Now, let's try again," Ty kept his voice gentle but firm. He wasn't letting her leave this table until the worksheet was finished. "Draw the number 50 four times. Now, what does that make? It's not as hard as you think it is, darlin'."
The eight-year-old in emo attire grumbles before picking up her pencil. There were too many problems on the worksheets. She had to answer 27 stupid questions.
A child who is the prime example of being intelligent but doesn't want to try out of boredom. On the paper, she had written down the number 54 four times.
"N- No, honey, not 54, 50 FOUR times."
Min-seo looked at him as if he had grown two heads. "What?"
Ty rolled his head and took the pencil from her. He erased four 54's and instead wrote four 50's added together in an addition formula.
"There, now add that together."
After getting through 18 problems, Ty started to get bored. He needed something to do with his hands.
Oh, what a tasty idea, "You can take a break."
He sat Ha-joon down in the self-rocking carrier and walked over to the fridge, pulled two large containers of pineapple and dark chocolate ice cream, a large bowl, sprinkles, caramel drizzle, and two bananas. Then he started assembling the most outrageous banana split for both of them. Surely something to cause cavities.
The third grader watched what he was doing with keen interest. Of course she is. The only kid in the house who doesn't like ice cream is Ji-ho.
While making it, he decided to add a sprinkle of peanuts, a chocolate drizzle, and even whipped cream to it as well. Once he was all done, he put the ingredients back.
He placed it in front of Min-min with a spoon and a small smirk on his face. She was about to dig in, but he pulled the confectionery treat back.
"Ah, ah, this is something we are both going to have while we work on your math. Deal?"
Min-seo narrowed her eyes before nodding, "Deal!"
Now with some proper encouragement, the girl happily finished her math problems with less fuss.
Na-ri walked in, having just finished her school work, and the look on her face was the epitome of betrayal.
"Is that a banana split?! Why does SHE get one and I don't?!"
This, of course, brought the attention of Na-yeon, Hae-un, and Seo-jun. A bunch of talk of 'that's not fair' and whatnot. Y'know. Children. She even got the attention of Baby and Romance.
The eight-year-old stared at Ty and then the rest of her complaining siblings. She instantly wrapped her arm around the bowl, and her pupils formed into slits. She ain't sharing.
Ty, knowing where this was going, sighed...four banana splits coming right up. Baby and Romance can make their own shit.

Within Ah-rin's room, she sat on her knees and dusted blush on imo Cho's cheeks. Gossiping like an evil little princess to her heart's content. Her and Cho's hair is in curlers. With her wearing the most pink, princess-y, puffy tutu you've ever seen on a child. The dress would Rival Charlotte Lebouf's childhood ones.
"Did you know Princess Ariana doesn't want to marry the prince? In fact, a little birdie told me she wants to run away!" Ah-rin speaks in a hushed tone as she gossips about the imaginary princess. "I'm thinking about telling her mother. The drama would be spectacular, wouldn't it?"
"Oh, absolutely!" Cho-rong gushed as she dabbed a bit of blush on Ah-rin's cheeks. "I can only imagine her face right now. Especially since- and keep this under your hat- rumor is, the princess fancies the royal gardener."
Ah-rin gasped and put her hands on her cheeks, "Really?! Oooh, her mother is going to be so upset! She'll practically have steam coming out of her ears!"
Romance, who was sitting in their beauty circle in a silk robe and painted nails, his hair wrapped in Cho-rong's homemade honey, aloe, and banana puree hair mask, and his face containing an egg yolk-and-lemon mask piped in.
"I heard through the grapevine she's planning to run away with him. Wouldn't that absolutely be scandalous if the entire kingdom found out?" Romance devilishly smiled before drinking his cherry-flavored tea.
Cho-rong's freshly painted crimson nails clacked against her teacup gleefully. "Oh, but Princess Ariana has all her bases covered. First, she and the gardener slip away under the cover of night after drugging her guards. Second, she bribes a ship's captain to take her to the gardener's distant cousin in the kingdom across the sea.
Third, she pawns all her jewelry, worth a king's ransom, to get a loan to start an embroidery and fabric business, while the gardener uses his skills to make plant dyes and perfumes.
Fourth, they become moguls of a luxury empire and return years later filthy, insanely rich to save her mother's bankrupt kingdom from utter ruin and misery, thus the queen will have no choice but to accept her daughter's marriage!"
Ah-rin gasps some more from all the juicy details, "How did you get all this?" Her eyes narrowed, and she got closer to Cho's face, "Are you secretly in cahoots with Princess Ariana?"
Cho looked away and feigned innocence with her finger on her cheek, "Ooooh, I don't know. But...it would be such a shame if you told the queen ahead of time, wouldn't it?"
The child had to think about that. No...she wouldn't want to ruin it. Ah-rin is a girl who can appreciate strategy. Plus, it would be fun to see the queen having to do nothing but accept because she has no other choice.
Later, Hae-un was bored and asked if she could join. It's been a long time since she played pretend with her parents. And what they had going on in there sounded fun. Of course, she bribed her sister into letting her touch and *siiiiiiiiigh* use her nail polish collection. Ah-rin would've said no to her joining otherwise. Hae-un knows she just wants to use it because she doesn't want her to! Not because she's actually interested!
Cho and Romance made sure Ah-rin didn't do too much. It's still Hae-un's stuff after all. While there, she was able to teach Ah-rin different painting techniques.
But here's the thing, Ah-rin liked doing things her way. And didn't quite appreciate Hae-un correcting her so much. So, what does a frustrated little sister do instead of voicing her frustration? Ragebait her sister. So, she would literally do the opposite of what Hae-un told her just to piss her off.
"Wha- NO! Okay, you're doing this on purpose now!" Hae-un barked.
"Alllright, now girls. How about we take a break from nail painting, hm?" Cho put her hand on Hae-un's shoulder while giving Ah-rin a light scolding look. She had finally caught on to what she was doing and wasn't pleased.
Ah-rin shrank a little under her imo's gaze. Maybe she should say something?
"Sorry...it's just that she's been bossing me around this whole time! I don't like it!"
"Well, honey, you could've said something instead of intentionally upsetting her.
"I was just trying to help..." Hae-un mumbled with an eyeroll.
Cho thought for a bit before speaking, "I can see from both of your perspectives. Ah-rin, Hae-un just thought she was helping you with something she knows you like. And Hae-un, Ah-rin didn't exactly ask for your help. Now, both of you say sorry for overstepping boundaries."
"And next time, girls, just talk things out about how you feel. You'll come to see that the frustration will leave quicker once there's an understanding." Romance added with a reassuring smile.
The girls side-eyed each other before relenting and apologizing. After establishing some clear boundaries, Romance suggested they end things off with some loud, over-the-top karaoke that would surely agitate the living hell out of the rest of the house.

Mystery was in Kyung-mi's room, working on her magical abilities. So far, she's learned to levitate, control the minds of animals, and she can disappear and reappear where she wants to on command.
Now, she's learning how to summon fire. She wanted to learn the fire arts, but to learn how to make art correctly, you gotta learn the basics.
So, unfortunately, she had to learn to bring it into existence first.
Kiki sat in front of her father and watched as he demonstrated a small spark.
"Deep breathe in, deep breathe out. Focus and vision on what you want." His voice is low and soft. All the patience in the world for his tiny one.
They've been at this for a house. And the only thing she can make is a stupid, small spark. Tinier than the one her appa is making. It's not fair! Why does Ah-rin get it before her?! SHE'S the one who's supposed to be powerful!
The angrier she got, the less her powers worked. Mystery could see she was getting frustrated, and when she's frustrated, the flame baby comes out. Which is ironic.
She can only channel fire when she's angry, but not calm. It needs to be both. So, when she's angry, she can make sure she isn't on fire.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"
Too late.
Thank goodness Cho blessed their clothes so they would not catch fire.
A little angry ball of fire arrived in less than ten seconds. But before she could run off, Mystery grabbed her and held her against his chest. He didn't care if she was molten hot to the touch.
That's his baby.
And he'll comfort her until she calms down.
He sways back and forth with her in his arms. It usually takes a good 5 to 10 minutes. Fortunately, it took less than two minutes. She actually calmed herself down.
She had balled her fists under her chin and focused on her appa's heartbeat.
"If I can learn to calm the fire...I can control it." She simply said. She looked up at her appa with a determined smile.
He smiled back, "That's my girl."

Jinu was currently sitting with Seo-jun in his lap. Gently combing through the boy's curls and adding a little bit of water to it to soften it up. Jun wanted a confetti afro, and Jinu was more than happy to oblige.
Romance was also in the room, sitting next to him, and slowly rocking back and forth with Eun-woo sleeping softly on his chest. Ji-ho is painting his own arms while sitting on his lap. Ro has been tuned out of the movie, as has Ji-ho.
Baby sat on the cushion on the other side of the living room behind Na-ri as he braided her hair. A box of brown-ish grey and dark green bullet casing pins sat next to Baby's knee. He took out a brownish grey pin and pinned it to the back of her ponytail.
Na-ri, unfortunately/fortunately, doesn't hang around other tweens her age. So, she doesn't quite know what is or isn't or should/shouldn't be considered embarrassing in terms of what she lets her parents affectionately do.
Most tweens are now getting into the habit of pushing their parents' affection away, when she still seeks it out. If she wants her own space, she'll say something. Well, she's trying to.
Cho-rong happened to catch when Ty went in to hug Na-ri, and she made a face of mild discomfort. It was the seventh hug that day. Cho then went to tell Na-ri that she's allowed to want her own space and tell her parents that they are smothering her if she feels like it. So, yeah, she's trying.
But right now, she doesn't feel smothered at all.
The stuff Jinu used was hair wax from multiple different colored jars. He would take each individual strand of curl and softly apply the color to it. Lil Jun would sometimes giggle at the feeling of his father doing the work.
At other moments, he was completely distracted by TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. Which greatly helped Jinu, because as quiet as Seo-jun is, he moves around a lot. And he can't quite do hair when his client is a wiggly worm.
Jinu tells Seo-jun he'll finish his hair, but he needs to get something. He poofs into the family's large art room and takes out hair beads in the shapes of stars and spaceships. He's been saving them for a special opportunity, and this is that time.
He poofs back in the living room and finishes up his hair by adding cute little details he knows his son will love. He starts with the back and somehow manages to get the front finished too, without disturbing the boy too much.
After he's done, he grabs the mirror sitting next to him and puts it in front of Seo-jun. The boy looks at it before quickly looking back up at the TV, then looks back up at it again.
He gasps before taking the mirror and stops hopping around excitedly. "I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it!"
He crashes into his appa and hugs him tight.
Romance and Ji-ho came back to reality when they heard Seo-jun cheering. All they saw was a whirlwind of colors before the meteor that is Junjun crashed and landed into Appa jinu. It would've been cute for Ro if Eun-woo hadn't started crying because of the noise.
"Seo! Inside voice!" Ji-ho reprimands before Romance or Jinu could. Stepping up his older brother game.
"Oops, sorry..." Seo-jun's voice was small and apologetic.
Jinu went to ruffle his son's hair, but didn't want to ruin anything, so he opted to pat him on the shoulder. "It's okay, Seong-un. I'm glad you like it."
Na-ri giggles at her little brother's antics. Baby places the final pin and gives her a mirror to look at herself in. Oh yeah, it was her idea to make bullet casing hairpins after she went to the shooting range with him. So, yes, those are real bullet casings. How was Baby supposed to say no to that cool as fuck idea?
"Awesome!"
"I'm glad ya like it, kid."
The way the hairpins are placed in her hair are...questionable. But that's what she wanted. She wanted them odd and turned them around in all different directions.
Makes it look 'unique,' she said.

Babies are weird. Eun-woo doesn't like being held by anyone but Romance and Cho. And maybe Jinu, depending on the cologne he's wearing. Ji-woo likes to hear herself scream and talk. And Ha-joon looks bored most of the time. You have to do backflips just to get a chuckle out of him. Oh, but Ms. Rachel can get ALL the giggles.
That was until Abby recently discovered his shoulders are ticklish. It was the end of his 'nonchalance' from there.
Before learning about the existence of plates that stick to the high chair, they had to zero in on the baby who was eating at the time.
Why? Because if they didn't, the plate would be launched to the ceiling. Followed by a series of giggles. As if it's funny. Funny that their parents have to go through the hassle of cleaning food off the CEILING.
Same for the toddlers below four. Thank GOD for suction plates.
Now, when it comes to feeding them, it gets tricky. Because these babies are boujee and only want the best quality of the flavor of what you're giving them. Potatoes? cool. Pureed with a lil bit of seasoning? Awesome. Vegetables?.....you're on thin ice, pal.
It had been another feeding time for the little ones, and it was Jinu's turn to feed Ji-woo. He was feeding her some mushed-up peas, and she was just NOT having it.
She fussed, and he thought, maybe he could eat it to show her it's okay?
"Is it not good? Let appa see." He put the spoon in his mouth...and then ran right over to the sink.
Jinu spat the shit out as if he'd been poisoned. Yep, alright, got it. No more peas. It was so gross that he literally started coughing and had to rinse his mouth out. That certainly didn't bring back any memories.
His spitting sound thankfully made Ji-woo laugh. Such a funny sound! His hands shakily lifted Ji-woo out of the high chair and cleaned her off of that disgusting green sludge.
He made a show of taking the jar of mushed peas and throwing it into the trash. He hissed at it, which made her laugh. But what made his day all the better was when she stuck her tongue out at the trash can.
"Awww, jagiyaaaa!" Jinu kissed her chubby cheek and blew a raspberry on it.

Demon spawn like Ji-a and Chae-won are being thrown. Or, in other words, uppies. Very high uppies. The person she likes getting thrown by the most is Baby.
Ji-a's reasoning is, "Appa throws higher!" while she points at him. Chae-won nods vigorously. The others totally aren't jealous. Why would you say that? They are HAPPY that Ji-a gets to have her favorite activity done with someone she trusts! Her appa! Other parents see how loving he is and feel like failures!
(Yes, they are jealous)
But it's not like she's wrong. Baby feels less afraid to throw the girls high up because he knows what he's doing. He knows how to measure distance and speed. In other words, he knows how to throw them in a way that the air pressure won't hurt them And, he knows how fast he needs to get to the other side of wherever they headed before they land.
Today was another day of that.
They were out on the far ends of the large piece of land. A full 1,200 acres to play with.
"Alright, munchkins, you ready?"
"UP UP!" Both girls cheered.
Baby softly smirked, and he launched Chae-won up high in the air first. Then Ji-a. High enough for them to touch the clouds. It's their favorite part. The texture is so soft and fluffy!
"Oh, my god..." Ty clutched his heart and had to sit down. Jinu right along with him.
Baby simply huffs before speeding off in the direction they are getting close to. And, as always, he catches them a second before they hit the ground.
Chae squeals and giggles in pure joy, "Again, again!"
Of course, he can't ignore his little ones' demands now, can he? So, he launches them again, but in the direction of his mates.
"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......" Is all he could hear. He burst out laughing because of the absurdity of it all.
Meanwhile, in the house;
You know, when kids get inspired by movies? They see a stunt or trick they want to replicate. Usually ends in disaster. A limb usually ends up broken, or something that belonged to the decor is broken.
Yeah, no, that's not Na-Yeon. She tries to replicate the science she sees in movies. You know, for fun.
She had perfected the Honey Lemon purse from Big Hero Six. The first attempt left colorful foam everywhere. The second left colorful, squishy tendrils all over her room. The third and fourth were the same.
But now, she finally did it!
So, NOW, she and her siblings can have fun with them. Throwing chemical balls all over the place for the hell of it. The part of the house that's fallen victim is the long driveway leading out to the main road. Puffy, colorful foam is being thrown by everybody.
Hae-un is definitely throwing them while simultaneously thinking about how all the color combinations would look good on her nails.
All of them are wearing gloves, especially the remaining toddlers. Do-yoon and Yu-na are having a blast. Mystery and Abby make sure they don't get too close, though.
"THIS IS SO FUCKIN' AWESOME!" Na-yeon shouts as he tosses another ball excitedly. She doesn't get excited about much. So, they'll give her this cursing pass.
Mystery looked away for two seconds, and Do-yoon was getting ready to literally put the chemical ball into his mouth. When he turned back around, there was pink & yellow foam covering his mouth.
Fuck. What is he supposed to do?!
He snatched the ball away from his hands and started wiping at his mouth.
"Shit, shit, shit!" He muttered
Uh oh. Whenever Myst curses there's a problem.
Abby whipped his head around, "Oh fuck, is he okay?!"
"I don-"
Just then, Do-yoon burped up a pink and yellow bubble. Many bubbles, actually. He didn't seem...affected? He seemed giddy. He was always giddy until he was being a tiny drama king, having a tantrum, or sleeping.
Na-yeon and Hae-un came over with the same amount of worry.
"Is he alright?" Na-yeon asked
"Uhhmm..." Mystery looked back at Do-yoon.
The boy then threw up. But wasn't at all deterred. He just looked down at the throw up and then back up at Mystery. Perfectly fine. It just needed to get out of his system.
"Now he is."
What is he so worried about? Yu-na drank bleach before and was completely fine.
Mystery decided to take Do-yoon back inside while the other children and Abby played.

Yeah, it's loud, it's messy, arguments every other 45 minutes, but it's home. This is what makes them the happiest.
