the problem with fandoms now is projection and I'm so serious. people project themselves onto characters and when those characters are criticized or disliked by someone, they can't handle that and crash out. alternately, when a character they hate is liked they can't handle that either because they have related it to some bad thing that happened in their past. people act like fandom is their paid job and it takes the fun out of it. fandom is supposed to be FUN. when it stops being fun, you need to learn how to step away. it is genuinely not that serious.

all that said, I really hope Goose is okay and knows that she has plenty more people who support her than hate her.
