If you guys haven't ordered ornaments from @pompeiiablaze, you should really consider doing so. They're super adorable and I cannot wait to hang them on a tree, instead of on the shelves in my entertainment room like they are currently. Go give Pom some love and consider purchasing these cuties!!

Haaaay there, I just wanted to say that I am enjoying this cursed AU Killian (whats the term for it? arc? collection?) thing you're writing :D I am always in like desperate need of AU cursed Killy and this one is one of my favorites \o/ *confettis and cheers* DO WANT MORE, PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

I don’t know what to call it either! It’s a strange way to write a story but I am really enjoying the format. It lets me just kinda jump around and write whatever idea that strikes my fancy instead of worrying about plot and pacing! I am happy so many people are willing to read the story that way! I love how many awesome Cursed!Killian stories there are out there and happy that people have found something in mine that they like!

The updating of it is pretty scattered though as I am committed to only writing as the muse strikes and not feeling bad if I don’t get to it. But you are in luck because I have had a Valentines’ Day idea for that universe for awhile now. So...uh...watch this space?

GENERAL APPEARANCE 1. How tall are you? Around 5′8. 2. What color and style is your hair? It’s brown, but these days I have it dyed streaky blonde, and it’s layered and just shorter than my shoulders - so still long enough to pull back in a ponytail.  Yay! 3. What color are your eyes? Hazel-green 4. Do you wear glasses? Yup.  I need them to see long distances (so things like signs when driving), so typically I just wear them all the time. 5. Do you wear braces? Nope.  I’m lucky enough to have straight teeth. 6. What is your fashion style? Jeans and a t-shirt or tanktop, with my hair pulled back in a ponytail and running shoes.  If I feel fancy, I might wear heeled boots. YOU IN GENERAL 7. What is your full name? I have answered this before... but now I like maintaining my air of mystery.  So we’ll go with Lynyrd. 8. When were you born? June 9th 9. How old are you? 25...  10. Where are you from/where do you live now? I’m from the Middle of Nowhere, Manitoba.  Now I live in Just South of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  That’s in Canada, for those that don’t know their Canadian provinces. 11. Do you have siblings? Older brother.  12. What school do you go to? I went to a public school in Slightly Larger Middle of Nowhere, Manitoba, before going to university in Winnipeg.  Now I’m a working gal. 13. What kind of student are you? I was a really good student in elementary/high school.  University was a bit of a reality check, but once I got the hang I pulled decent marks, especially later, once my classes got more specialized. 14. Do you like school? I didn’t hate it, but I definitely enjoy being done more.   15. What are your favorite school subjects? I loved Soil Fertility in University, and my Insect Weed ID class. 16. What are your favorite TV shows? JFC, so many.  But right now the ones I look most forward to are OUAT and Empire.   17. Favorite movies? I like my mindless action flicks - Taken, RED, the MCU.  I also have a major weakness for Two Weeks Notice. 18. Favorite books? I read a lot of books, mostly trash romance.  But I also love LAMB by Christopher Moore, Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.  Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.  Of course there’s also the Psy/Changeling and Guild Hunter books by Nalini Singh, and Immortals after Dark series by Kresley Cole, and her Arcana Chronicles. And then there’s the basics - Harry Potter, Mortal Devices, Hunger Games. 19. Favorite pastime? Reading, writing, soil fertility plans 20. Do you have any regrets? I didn’t ride the elephant at the circus when I was 5.  21. What is your dream job? Dream job would be full time author, but I’m incredibly lucky because I actually stumbled into a job that I really love.  22. Would you like to get married one day and where? Not really, tbh.  I mean, if something happens that I fall in love or something, maybe.  But I’m not exactly actively looking. 23. Would you like kids one day? How many? Nope.  I will spoiler my future nieces and nephews horribly, but I have no desire for kids of my own. 24. Girly girl, regular girl or tomboy? Well, I consider us all “regular girls,” but I’d fall towards tomboyish on the scale.  I do enjoy dressing up nice and playing with makeup on occasion, though. 25. Do you like shopping? For books. 26. What countries have you visited so far? U.S., Dominican, Jamaica 27. What’s the scariest nightmare you’ve had? That there was a serial killer on the loose, and we were at my brother’s hockey game and the killer was there, and I hid outside in the car.  I woke up as he opened the door, so pretty sure he killed me. 28. Do you have enemies? I hold grudges; horrible, horrible grudges.  So once someone has done me wrong?  I find it incredibly difficult to forgive them.  I still hold grudges against some people from high school, even though I know they’ve grown up... I just have difficulty forgiving. 29. Do you have a s/o? Nope! 30. Do you believe in miracles? Yes.  Although they’re super rare and need to really be appreciated. YOUR MUSIC

pompeiiablaze gave me permission to write a follow up to the awesome drawing and drabble she created which can be found here.  So I did.  Thanks for being awesome talented (and being okay with me writing this)!

He’s still missing.

               Emma runs her hand through Henry’s hair and smiles at her parents, but then her gaze shoots around, looking for the one responsible for it all.

               If it hadn’t been for Killian – foolish, reckless, brave man that he is – she would still be the Dark Swan out for blood. And she knows that once excitement has died down, there will be a lot of work to do.  Relationships were damaged and trust broken… but at least they’re all alive to have those relationships fixed. And that’s because of Killian.

               And he’s not there.

               “You should find him” – her gaze shoots down to Henry, who smiles up at him.  He’s fourteen, but the expression in his eyes is too mature, and it kills Emma that she’s played a role in aging him – “I know that you want to.  You’ll feel better, once you know he’s safe.  And so will he.”

               She hugs him and presses a kiss to her son’s forehead.  She catches David eye, and he gives her the smallest of nods.  Emma isn’t sure what her father does, but whatever it is keeps eyes off of her, and she manages to sneak out of the diner.  Once in the street, she realizes that she isn’t sure where to go.

               Her first instinct is the Jolly… but then she thinks of things that were said there, and she’s hugging herself around the stomach.  She doesn’t want to go there and deal with those memories, not right now.  Instead, her feet carry her toward the loft.  It’s a safe zone, the one place she hadn’t invaded with her darkness.  Even when the Dark One had taken her over completely, some part of her had wanted a safe place for Henry, for her younger brother, who had done nothing to draw her ire. So the loft remains a safe place, and if Killian isn’t there, then she can always call him and ask him to come.

               She pushes away the voice that calls her a coward, for trying to avoid the worst of what she did.  She’ll have to face it eventually, she knows that, but not right now.

               Her phone is already in her hand when she opens the door to the loft, and she’s scrolling through her contacts.   She comes up short, when she hears the shower running.  Seconds later, the water turns off, and Emma quietly closes the door, her gaze locked on the entrance to the washroom.  

               “Killian?” she calls out.

               There’s no reply, and she wonders if their newest villain of the week is going to be some creepy housebreaker, but then the door to the washroom opens and it’s a familiar dark head of hair that peeks out.

               “Swan,” he greets her with a smirk.  “Give me a moment, won’t you?”

               She nods, because she can’t get any words out. They’re lodged in her throat, a ball that makes swallowing hard, because the words had been right, even the smirk had been expected, but it had been strained.  And his eyes held a shadow to them, one that said he wasn’t entirely happy to see her.

               He comes out of the washroom once more, dressed only in jeans, and Emma clenches her fingers to resist the desire to step up and touch that warm, damp skin.  There is a distance between them that hasn’t existed since she had admitted to fearing she would lose him in the middle of the street.  It had been there when she was the Dark Swan, but part of Emma…

               Well, she supposed she had expected some distance from her parents, from Regina, but never, never, from Killian.  Not from the one that had always believed in her, even when she thought her situation hopeless.

               “I…” Emma takes a step towards him, and he doesn’t move, but she sees his fist clench, and it makes her freeze.  “I… I really messed this up, didn’t I?

               She gives him a self-deprecating smile, because really, shouldn’t she have expected his?  How often has she pushed him?  And the thing the Dark Swan had done… in his shoes, would she have remained?

               He says nothing and she gives him a tight smile and small nod, and turns her back to him before she can completely fall apart. She won’t do that in front of him, fall apart and make him feel obligated to… to treat her as he always has.  Not when she doesn’t deserve it.

               She takes a step, only to find herself wrapped up tightly in two arms.  His right arm comes across her body, his hand grasping her left shoulder, pushing her back into his body.  His left arms cradles her across the waist, Hook kept carefully from her skin.   Emma freezes in surprise, and feels him bury his face in her neck.  She thinks he says something, but his words are muffled by her skin.

               “Killian?” she asks softly, keeping utterly still.

               “Don’t go,” he says after a long moment of silence. The words are heartfelt – he truly doesn’t want her to go – but they’re not the ones he had said before, the ones whispered into her skin.  She turns in his embrace, and he loosens his grip enough to let her.  

               His eyes… the only word she can think of to describe the look in them is tormented.  It makes them appear incredibly blue, and she runs her fingers down his cheek.  He needs to shave, his stubble is getting out of hand, and when Emma goes on tip toes to press her lips to his, it pricks her skin, but she doesn’t care.

               She needs to feel him.  And she thinks that he needs to feel her too.  For a few seconds, she’s in control of the kiss, but as though a dam has broken between Killian and his turbulent emotions, he moves his hand from her shoulder to her cheek, tilting her head so he can have better access to her lips. The kiss becomes a desperate meeting of lips.  They break apart for a second for wild gasps of air, and then he’s kissing her again, and all Emma can do is let him.

               “Killian-” she begins when they finally break apart, and he rests his forehead on hers, his breath warm against her lips.

               “You left me,” he says, cutting her off.  He doesn’t open his eyes, but his arm around her waist tightens, pulling her closer.  “You left me.”

               “I didn’t want to, Killian,” she replies, holding his hand between her hands.  His eyes open, wild and blue, and clash with hers, and he takes a single long, shuddering breath.  “You have to know I didn’t want to.”

               “But you did, Emma,” he replies, closing his eyes once more and pulling away from her.  She stands there frozen, hands still in the air, staring wide eyed at his back.  The muscles in it are tense, and the tendons in his arms are visible when he clutches the back of a chair.  “I need to know one thing.”

               “What?” she asks, her whole body tense, ready for him to turn around and tell him he’s done, that she’s too much, and why shouldn’t he?  Being the Savior means never getting a break, and loving the Savior…

               It might be her birthright, but he never signed up for it.

               “Did you think of me?” he asks, and she doesn’t know what to say.  “At any point, did you think of what it would do to me?  Of the hell it would put me through?”

               “I…” she pauses, contemplates her next words very carefully.  “I thought of how I wished I had said I loved you earlier, when I wanted to.  And I hoped that you would find me, and bring me back, because there are only two people who have always believed in me, and you’re one of them.  Killian, I never wanted you to be hurt.”

               She sees his shoulders slump, and she isn’t sure how to fix this one.

               “I’ll… I’ll give you some space-”

               “I don’t want space.”

               He turns around again, and they stand there in a silent staring war.  Emma doesn’t know what to say, because she hates that he’s hurt, but she can’t apologize for what she did, not when there was no other plan and not acting could have meant every, including him, would die.  

               “I’m so angry at you,” he said at last looking at the roof.  “I’m so angry, and so proud, and so in love that I don’t know what to do anymore, Emma.”

               She bridges the gap between them and wraps her arms around his waist, laying her head on his chest and listening to his steady heartbeat beneath her ear.  It doesn’t take long for his arms to wrap around her once more, his face burying in her hair.

               “I can’t apologize for saving you all… but I can for losing faith in you, for letting the darkness defeat me, even for a little bit.”

               “Never do it again,” he replies, a plea in her voice, and Emma wonders if her smile looks as pained as she feels.

               “I can’t do that, either, Killian,” she replies.  “I love you all too much to not protect you.”

               Silence reigns, and she waits for his next words. When she would have grown tense with his lack of reply, his hand comes up to stroke her hair, until she’s leaning against him as though she’s boneless.  She thinks she could probably fall asleep like this – and God, but she’s looking forward to finally sleeping – and he presses a kiss into her hair.

               “Just… don’t go somewhere I can’t follow then. If you have to be reckless, then let me be reckless with you.”

               “Like a team,” she murmurs drowsily into his skin.

               “Aye, Swan.  Like a team.”

               “I can do that,” she promises, and when she feels him left her into his arms, she just buries herself against him and lets exhaustion take her under.

               It’s hardly over.  There are still relationships to mend – including this one with him – but curled against him in sleep, it’s the first time Emma has felt at peace in weeks.

Hey pompeiiablaze! While I’ve had the postcards for a week the sticker finally arrived at the end of last week and it’s has gone straight into my diary because I still like the old fashion type of diaries where I can stuff odd bits of paper and things into it, Sorry it’s a bit late - it’s been a crazy couple of weeks/weekend and tumblr has suffered because of it. Both the postcard and sticker are relatively small - so 'Sky full of stars’ came out really, really well! (Don’t be mislead by my poor mobile phone camera quality)  Thank you so, so ,so much for putting it on Redbubble for me:-)
