================
the plot THICKENS
pondskips new apprentice.
The young cat followed Pondskip through the red forest, feeling the stares of cats that passed long before his own time. Though he himself is not dead, he feels as though he died moons ago whilst following this strange new mentor.
Pondskip had introduced himself with his name, and his intentions, but nothing else. The young apprentice had no other knowledge of this cat, but he felt trapped and knew that Pondskip was his only ticket to leaving. But the apprentice couldn’t help but be a nosey, what did Pondskips phrasing mean? What enemies could Pondskip possibly help him defeat?
The path they walked upon crackled with the bones of both deceased cats who had died twice, and living cats caught within a nightmare. The apprentice treaded carefully and pondered Pondskips words, before his new mentor stopped suddenly, and spoke.
"We’ll begin training here, Sweetpaw.“
i cant think of a title for this but just know i am so sorry: the very long procrastinated and awaited 4th[?] part to this story
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
Riverrush couldnt stop himself from shouting. Pondskip had the decency to look ashamed, at least somewhat so. That didnt stop him from opening his maw however.
"It sounds much worse than it actually is, i promise you riverrush."
Riverrush quieted for a moment and leaned towards Pondskip. Pondskips ears drooped with shame.
"did you even think about your actions, just once?
Pondskips eyes widened in momentary shock before he opened his maw to defend himself.
"of course i did-"
He was quickly cut off by riverrushes snarl, his voice held distaste and dissapointment.
"Did you?' Riverrushs ears were pinned against his head, his perpetually soaked fur stood as straight up as it could and his scaled tail thrashed 'because it seems to me that you enacted an immature and implusive plan without any second thought for anyone but yourself!"
"I did it for you' pondskips ears were no longer drooped, instead pinned back, matching his brothers, his tail lashing about and disrupting the decaying leaves 'I only did it so that i could see you again, and so that all those fox-hearted bastards could know how it felt to have you taken away from me!"
"i never asked you to."
Pondskip was beyond enraged at this point, he didnt understand why Riverrush just wouldnt listen to him.
"Leave, Pondskip."
Pondskip felt his heart drop as he watched his brother walk away.
"no, no, no, no, no, no, NO, RIVERRUSH DONT YOU DARE LEAVE ME AGAIN"
But before Pondskip could reach him, Riverrush dived into the fools puddle he resided in, and pondskip shyed away. He couldnt bring himself to dive in after his brother, no matter how much he wanted to, even the lightest droplet of water sent him back to his death. Pondskip sat down, and put his paws over his face, ashamed and guilty, and fell asleep after what felt like years.

Story:
Pondskip never liked to hang out with the other cats. They oftentimes were rude and made fun of how he looked, which never mattered much to him. And because of this, he was closer to his brother than any other cat, anytime he was to have fun, Riverrush was there.
So of course he would accept the offer Riverrush had extended. Unfortunately, what was meant to be an enjoyable experience was cut short by his own death, how inconvenient. What truly made Pondskip feel grief was how his brother punished himself.
Hee longed to tell him that it wasn't his fault, but he didn’t know how. None of the other cats told him how to appear to other cats, and so he hoped that Riverrush would stop his blame on his own.
Pondskip was heartbroken when he greeted his brother, and felt even worse when his brother was still being unfairly punished. He swore he would fix this enormous mistake, in his own way.
He set out one day, and started to hunt the eight cats that had sentenced his brother to the Dark Forest. He started with a small calico, who had been especially rude to his brother. He killed her quickly, and left her within one of the Starclan camps.
His next victim, or more appropriately, prey, was a larger grey tom. He had been the one that held him back from joining his brother. He got a rather bit messy with this one, but the squish of his claws piercing the behated toms eye was all too satisfying.
Then one after the other, they all went down, a small tabby tom, a large calico she-cat, a tortoiseshell around the same size as himself, a black cat with a snaggle tooth, a little grey one no bigger than an apprentice.
There was only one cat left, a large white tom who looked to be a direct descendant of a lion. He had been the one to say the dreaded words to Riverrush, and as such, Pondskip planned to show him no mercy. As his pitch-black blood stained paws thundered towards him, Pondskip threw all caution out the window, and tackled the tom, fighting with a ferocity that could rival the most violent of creatures. The tom fought hard, but Pondskip fought harder. He finally caught a mouthful of the tom’s throat and yanked it out as fast as he could.
He dragged the body back to the Starclan camp. As he watched the terrified cats tremble, he deposited the body along with the others, and as a show of his anger, he raked his claws across the final cat’s face, splattering his fur with the stars that lay beneath his skin.
He left the camp slowly, and walked across the border to the Dark Forest. He could care less if any of those Starclan bastards came looking for him, he had a brother to find, and he wouldn’t let any cat stand in his way.

i cant think of a title but just know i am so sorry 2: a little less sorry
Pondskip stalked his prey, hiding within the plentiful bushes. It looked up for a minute, before it continued to clean its ears. Pondskip readied himself, and leaped, killing it quickly. He brought it back to the empty camp, and left it within the freshkill pile, a nice surprise for the other cats when they come back.
Pondskip left camp, and continued to hunt, if he was lucky, hed catch enough to consider his goal done for the day. He leaped yet again, he got rather messy with this one, and unfortunately his paws got a little dirty, nothing a quick wash cannot fix.
He brought it back to camp, and continued to hunt and bring prey back, getting messier with each kill. He was nearly finished for the day, he only had one target left.
As he stalked them, they seemed wary, constantly looking around as if they could hear him. Pondskip ran towards them, and lunged. The "prey" fought and clawed him, trying to throw him off and protect themself. Pondskip finally got a maw-full of their throat and sunk his teeth in, ripping them out just as fast and killing the cat instantly.
This one was heavier than the others, and as pondskip dragged them back to camp, he cared not to see if anyone was there, he simply left the poor cats corpse in the freshkill pile. He flexed his claws, and raked them across the corpses face one last time, splattering his fur with blood, blood that resembled the nightsky, full of stars, and darker than any other substance in starclan.
He gave a snicker, and left the camp, ignoring the horrified starclan cats, and he walked across the border himself, determined to find his brother.
i cant think of a title but just know that i am so sorry
Pondskip watched with horror as riverrush walked towards the border, he felt frozen in place. He had begged the other starclan cats to let riverrush in, he knew that riverrush would've saved him if he knew how, he knew riverrush was trying to keep him alive. He watched as riverrush stepped over the border. He couldn't move as he watched his brothers body violently contort, gaining fish like features, how cruel.
Suddenly, it was as if a curse had been broken. Pondskip jerked his body and ran towards riverrush, he had nearly reached his brother before a cat had grabbed him. Pondskip fought the unseen cat, but they were simply stronger. Pondskip cried out to his brother, riverrush simply looked toward his brother, pain in his eyes, and said one thing.
"Pondskip, leave me."
"no, no, riverrush please! let go of me! riverrush, please if you cant come to starclan, then let me come to the dark forest with you!"
But riverrush simply turned his head, and walked away. Pondskip watched him walk away, then turned to hiss at the cat that had held him back.
"you monster! he was innocent, he belonged here!"
"in doesnt matter if hes innocent anymore, hes already made his choice, come on now pondskip, follow me.
Pondskip simply sat down and buried his head in his paws. He swore to himself that he would make them regret it, make them regret everything.
