hiatus

well, sort of...

so I’ve been planning to take a break from tumblr for quite a long time. I’ve been on this website for over 3 years now and from the beginning I knew that being here takes definitely too much of my free time, but that didn’t matter as long as I was having fun. But for the last couple of months, I really stopped enjoying it as much as used to before. It stopped being real fun, it became more like a chore, like something I have to do and it became really addicitve and sometimes I just logged in, reblogged couple of things, logged out and then 5 minutes later I would realise that I’m still on this goddamn website clicking “page down” on my dash. It just became a pointless habit that I couldn’t get rid of. What’s more, tumblr really changed - and I don’t mean this horrible new post dimensions, etc. It became a really hateful place and all those fights between people, whether they were fandom wars or wars about social justice or whaever, just started to tire me - and don’t get me wrong, because I agree we should fight for stuff like that, but I’m fighting all these wars everyday, in my real life, and I was seeking for an escape on this website and with every year it just became worse and all those hateful feelings started to infiltrate here, to my safe place. And besides this, tumblr has been crashing down all the time recently (which made me even more annoyed with it than I already was).

So. I have to focus on my real life now. I have this big plan concerning my future and I’m very determined to make it happen. But I need to spend more of my free time studying and less time here. I would like to not come back here for a while. But I know it’s not possible, because even though I hate it, I can’t imagine my life without all of you and I won’t let my blog die away so easily. So I have decided that I will come here once or twice a month to set a queue, but I will definitely not be here (as an actual human being) until summer holidays.

So what I’m saying is: please, consider my blog as an unmanned vehicle and see you in June.
