Grace leans fully into the jewelry. how could he not? Especially when he's been gifted so many beautiful pieces, specifically by Rocky and Adrian. Bracelets, rings, necklaces, ankle bracelets, you name it, its probably been gifted to him. With the help of Armando, he ends up with quite a few piercings (he imagines his mother would faint at the sight). They are mainly on his ears, but he does have nostril piercings and a belly button piercing! (and perhaps nipple piercings).

Obviously, his clothes don't last forever. As he settles into life on Erid, adopting the culture, he starts to wear more "eridian" clothing. Adrian is actually a rather remarkable seamstress (on top of many other things), so they make the clothing for him. His wardrobe slowly morphs into one of shawls, dresses, skirts ("Is practical!" Rocky had chirped when Grace gawked at the first dress). Adrian spares no expense with the material, either. Everything they make has that gorgeous reflective feature of xenonite, with varying colors in mismatched places. Grace finds it beautiful.

Once he is healthy and the eridians figure out how to do it safely (it really isn't complicated, but Rocky about jumped out of his carapace when Grace brought up the idea), he gets markings. The first is one of the petrova line, identical to Rocky's. Like most people with tattoos, it snowballs from there and he ends up with many more. He adores them. He has one for Rocky, for Adrian, for Tau Ceti, for Sol, for Earth, for his profession (teaching), the list goes on.

Adrian comes from what’s essentially a royal family on Erid, identified by their large size and vibrant carapaces, how the color would translate to eridian vision i know not.

Bouncing off of Jortiz’s arranged marriage headcanon, Rocky essentially got lucky when it came to the arrangement of him and Adrian. He was anxious as all get out the first time he met Adrian, really believing that he’d somehow fumble this non-negotiable future. But he found their harmony came easy to both of them, even if they were both hesitant to begin with. Adrian knew their duty and accepted in grace, but Rocky doesn’t strike me as the kind to like being told what to do.

He thought for sure that Adrian would have moved on by the time he returned to Erid. They have duties, responsibilities. Why would they stay mated to him, especially if he’s been presumed dead? But Adrian waited. They waited and yearned and their song was filled with what could only be described as wails when he returned. And, oh, how they accepted Grace into the family.

Adrian is extremely wealthy and entirely sponsored the construction of graces biodome, as well as anything involving Grace. Many Eridian families wanted to sponsor anything involving the alien, but Adrian always insisted on being the one. Being Savior Rocky’s mate, they got that privilege a little easier.
