Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away, Dragoart told me I was not a true artist unless I could draw every single pony freehanded. I’ve held a grudge against her ever since.
6 years may have passed since they yelled this at me on a thread on dA, and I’m feeling spiteful. For the next year or so, I will post one pony that I drew freehanded each day to prove them wrong.
Pony #1 for the #PonyADay project is Crafty Crate.
I do not plan on using the cookie cutter style that MLP uses. I’m planning on using this project to practice horse anatomy, as well as the lineless concept style and the ever-growing in popularity and aesthetically pleasing style that’s being used by animation studios these days.
