Why in the world is Sound! Euphonium licensed by PonyCam? I do want to add this series to my library, not in the least because it has delicious femslash (seriously, this episode, so many longing glances and confessions). But not at those prices.
#sound! euphonium#ponycam#I don't want to wish any anime company bad luck#but I cannot see their model as sustainable#so it makes me wish that they sublicense it to someone else#literally anyone else#I mean#aniplex does drive a hard baragain#but at least it isn't utterly outrageous#not $25 per episode#that's higher than even pre-bubble crash#I am curious how many units they managed to have sold for 3 sets they released so far#...#I guess I could always export it from England or Australia if/when it gets released over there
