Their story and dynamic is so special to me. It's this beautiful, implied, unspoken thing. I care about you so deeply. I may not be close to many people, but I'm close to you.
We'll stargaze until dawn with my shitty telescope you gave me. I love it because you gave it to me.
Maybe they're romantic, maybe they're platonic, maybe both, maybe we don't need to know. Maybe they don't need to put words to it. Maybe they never put words to it. Maybe they yearned in the silence while they took comfort in it. Should they have said something?

Did you know how much I cared. Did my actions show it. I tried to hold you together while you fell apart in front of me. Do you still know I care just as much?

I'm continuing your work. The world ending is second to your loss. My body is unrecognizable, but watching your decline changed me more. I need to put meaning to this, this can't all be for nothing. No more stargazing until dawn can't be for nothing.

I need to post this because I cannot get it out of my head. Jasper when he disrobes is the most swagless beast I have ever seen. His stance. The way his arms fall limply at his sides. His 'legs' all curled up like spaghetti underneath him, because they had to be that way to fit under his robe. He looks humiliated. Like he's going to tell his mom he just threw up. Literally every time I look at that sprite I laugh and think of the phrase "swagless beast" because HE IS. He embodies it better than anyone else. I think of him and think of "swagless beast Jasper" at least once. God I love him
