hey, this is the poolposter u just reblogged! i HAVE to ask, did the pool you dreamed of still have water in them?
i used to dream of a bunch of pools like that too, but they had like, rusted trinkets and coins and lost items at the bottom. id just find it interesting if someone dreamt something so similar to me!!
Oh yea hi!!!! Full of clear clean water, not so much trinkets n stuff but lots of pipes and sharp tiles and more industrial stuff/machinery. lots of tile. Sprinklers and fountains are a big theme too. Notable smell of chlorine. Sometimes there'd be lights/alarms under the water too, and/or they'd be bottomless or too deep to see all the way, or would have tunnels under the water. Sometimes these dreams were frightening but more often than not they were comforting and weirdly nostalgic.
One that stuck out to me for years was there being a small water-filled hole in the floor at walmart lol. the tile was all cut away and upon looking in there was deep water and a ton of machinery and pipes. i remember really wanting to put on scuba gear and go exploring down there. it was very vivid!
I think it stems from spending a lot of time at the pool when i was young, and a mall i used to go to a lot having a ton of fountains and an indoor (unswimmable) pool with a bunch of old machinery in it from a long-defunct submarine ride.
It's cool that we've had similar dreams!!! I've never actually met anyone else who's had pool dreams like this lol, thanks for the ask!! :D
