Ardyn gave no verbal response. Instead, he hugged Izunia a little tighter. It was, indeed, one of those days.
Izunia did not need any verbal response, not from his brother. They could easily stay silent and knew exactly what the other was thinking. He stayed like this for another second, before prying Ardyn’s arms away, turning around and wrapping his own arms around him. Ardyn might was the one who started to hug him - but it probably was just to be able to hold on to something. His brother needed that embrace all the more.
