Once again she had managed to go an entire shift without being recognized. Her greatest fear was that someone would recognize her -- Nico Yazawa, the world’s greatest school idol -- working a lowly waitressing job at Fukuoka. If she were honest with herself, the likelihood that someone around here actually knew who she was was, well, slim to none.
That didn’t deter her from putting on a ridiculous disguise to and from work so that no one noticed her; although truly she was just drawing more attention to herself. She slipped her sunglasses over her eyes and peeked out the back door of the restaurant. The coast was clear.
Nico stepped outside and began her usual incognito walk back to her apartment. She slid along the side of the building keeping an eye out for any potential fans that may harass her. Slipping around to the front of the building she let out a sigh of relief. So far so good. Now she just needed to hurry home and--
Someone was staring at her near the entrance of the restaurant and Nico froze. Had a fan noticed her? They didn’t see her come out the back right? What if they wanted a picture? She couldn’t deny them that opportunity! At the same time, it was ultra suspicious that she had been coming around the back of the building as opposed to walking out the front.
She could come up with an explanation if someone asked. She was taking pictures with the cooks, that’s it. Nico approached her ‘fan’ and tried to flip one of her pigtails back, forgetting that she had them up in buns for her disguise.
“Do you want a picture?”
