A frown soon appeared on his face.

“Not that it doesn’t look nice any other night - of course, it’s always lovely...I’ve just noticed how you’ve fashioned it a little differently than usual...needless to say that I don’t always fixate on your hair - that would be rather strange - and I’m not saying that your hair is the only nice feature you possess, either - your eyes and smile are quite nice, too - although I don’t pay all that much attention to any of that, not really...just offering credit where it’s due, that’s all...”

By this point, a burning hue had set into his cheeks. He glanced down rather meekly at his empty glass.

“Oh, would you look at that? I’ve drunk the last of my orange juice. I’m going to go and fetch some more. Won’t be a moment-”
