Connor stands over Norman, who’d been rather quick to end up on the floor. He probably shouldn’t laugh. He can almost hear Hank now - No one likes a show off, Connor. It had been his miscalculation, forgetting the importance of adrenaline. It seemed Norman wasn’t as eager at the prospect of sparring as he was. He thought he was going easy on him. Grinning, Connor stretches out a hand to his partner, head tilting slightly. “Here. Promise it’s not a trick this time.”
