Season 7 Ep. 2 Spoilers

Oh no, Ezran.... Of all the people I expected to start falling into darker places, Ezran was near the bottom of the list. And how he was ignoring Zym??? Unbelievable!

I am actually ecstatic that Callum has his priorities straight and is helping his girlfriend even if it means choosing her over Ezran. In my opinion, when it comes down to it, a person's significant other should take precedence over other family.

Also, self eating??? Holy shit??? I hope that we actually see where that leads instead of it just being a moot detail.

9.5/10 episode, things are falling into place very nicely.

If I had to guess, I think Callum will immediately fly for Katolis in season 7, but if he is there for Runaan's fuller debrief...

Rayla: So... when I said Ethari was waiting for you, what I meant was, he thinks you're dead and has for the past two years.

Runaan: *pulling on literally the first shirt he can find and scrambling east toward the Silvergrove*

Rayla: ...And I'm Ghosted, and if you try to go home you may be too.

Runaan: *stares at her in horror*

Rayla: But we're not alone! We have Callum! He saved you! He's a ~mage~

(Runaan has not gotten the memo on humans and magic. Callum is also dressed exactly like Viren, and, to Runaan's eyes, looks just like the man who tortured and imprisoned him. Runaan is one wrong move away from snapping)

Callum: Hi, we've met. ...When you broke into our castle... to kill my family...

Runaan:

Callum: Also I pawned your husband's wedding ring and accidentally killed your dog. Is this a bad time to tell you I'm dating your daughter?

Runaan (holding it together only through years of honed self-control): *turns stiffly and walks into the trees. Moments later a flock of birds fly out, disturbed by a completely unrelated scream that rings through the woods*

Wait, so Runaan didn't age in the coin, right? 'Cause if he didn't that means that now he's like two years younger than Ethari when he was formerly almost 4 months older than him. Oh, he's never going to live that down.

So, Runaan has been gone for like two weeks (?) and, in that short time, his daughter fell in love and started dating a human prince. Runaan might not be scared of death, but I bet this must be his nightmare.

Aw, man, I wanna share some of the many scenes of the adults talking, from my Sarai refugee au where Sarai + boys stay in Rayla's tree house, but they're all so spoilery. There's this drama-juicy Sarai-Ethari talk, but alas XD So have a snippet tiny enough to be sufficiently vague, lol

Thinking of Runaan trying to establish an impartial and objective list supposed to help him find reasons to hate Callum:

Reason to hate the human Callum:

he’s human Rayla and Ethari said it doesn’t matter (I don’t understand how that’s a thing, but if Ethari says so...)   

He’s evil  no wait he saved Rayla x2 And cleared Lain and Tiadrin’s name. And he helped saving the Dragon prince. And me...

used dark magic x1  it was to save Rayla too (I’ll have to think further of this) add.note: investigate about him becoming a primal mage

He’s the son of the one who killed our king brought back the egg of the dragon prince 

 He’s a boy  that’s unforgivable

Flirting with Rayla (Even more unforgivable. They’re far too youg. Lain and I should take turn to guard Rayla. I think we will have to watch them for a decade... or two, it will be safer... note: avoid telling Tiadrin and Ethari)
