well that was a great first goal of the tournament

So we didn’t have family Thanksgiving on actual Thanksgiving because my parents were in New York City for the Macy’s Parade.

We’re having dinner together today.

My parents already had the annual argument* about how/when the turkey should get cooked. Dad always says Ma does it wrong or should put it in at this time or let it sit longer, etc, etc.

Ma told him he could cook the turkey, then. And she didn’t offer him any tips, suggestions, or advice.

The turkey is now on the bottom rack of the oven, seasoned sparsely with salt and pepper, and neither covered with foil nor in an oven bag.

When I saw it, I legit started making Tina Belcher noises.

I really hope the turkey survives TT____TT

*Disclaimer: My parents have been married thirty-four years and barely fight. This is just Dad being obnoxious.
