Here’s background story of Wilson
In my headcanon, Wilson was very different back when he was still a GOC field agent. The contrast between that version of him and the person he is now is actually quite large. Working as a GOC operative requires you to act like a hardened soldier—someone who can do unpleasant things without hesitation, even if deep down you are still a kind and compassionate person.
During that time, he carried out a lot of dirty work and killed many people in the line of duty.
I also imagine that Wilson struggles with a form of intrusive violent thoughts. He sometimes experiences sudden impulses or images of harming others that force their way into his mind without his control. Ironically, the nature of GOC field work occasionally gave him an outlet for those impulses. In some situations he could even become almost carried away by the violence—losing himself in the moment, the way people sometimes describe someone as “going berserk.”
But deep down, Wilson knows these thoughts and impulses are not right. That awareness creates a constant inner conflict for him. He is someone who genuinely wants to be a good person, yet he has to live with the fact that part of his mind is capable of something much darker.
That contradiction is one of the things that shaped who he eventually became after joining the Foundation.
(Wilson is in the Repair Shed damaged from a severe crash)
Morgan: So, on a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your pain?
Wilson, groaning: 10/10 would NOT recommend.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars's new song reminds me of this scene
- It's okay.
- It's not okay. Why is it okay with you? Why aren't you angry?
- That's not the last feeling I want to experience.
versus
If the party was over
And our time on Earth was through
I'd wanna hold you just for a while
And die with a smile
Hearing House say that deep down, Wilson believes that if he cares enough he'll never have to die, knowing what Wilson says when he thinks he is dying about how at least he would have deserved it if he cared less, hurts.
Am I in love with my best friend quiz
Looks like Wilson got her hand on one of Goldclaw's Novels.
She is,... confused to say it slightly.
"I mean, fire's always been my friend. My only friend, besides Bernie. But he's a bear, ya know?" Willow shrugged, as if the implications of Bernie's bearishness were obvious.
"I thought I was your friend?"
"You're my BOYfriend, dummy. It's different. You can break up with boyfriends easy. But me and fire? We're forever."
Wilson seemed concerned by this. "You- you don't intend to call off our relationship, do you?"
"No!.. But, I dunno, things change. Even in the Constant. Maybe you will."
"Willow!" His voice was loud, incredulous, almost panicked. "If circumstances were different- if we met back in the normal world- when we escape the Constant, I fully intend to marry you. If you'll have me."
I fully intend to marry you.
The thought hit Willow like a truck. A train. 10 trains. The sun crashing to Earth and engulfing them all. She didn't often think of the future- she focused on the present, on staying alive minute to minute. This was true even before Maxwell had transported her here. The future was an uncertain thing, and banking on it only lead to hurt hopes. Images flashed in her mind of their own accord, vingettes of a normal domestic life- or what she guessed one would be like, anyway. Married. To Wilson. Willow... Higgsbury?
"Is the idea really so out there?" Shit. She hadn't said anything. He sounded hurt. She didn't mean to hurt her dumb sensitive boyfriend with her stupid trauma.
