Zercey didn't like him one bit, but if he had to die, genoh wasn't how she'd choose. Blinking tears from her eyes and swallowing the rising bile in her throat, she slid along the wall until she reached the drain pipe and almost fell trying to climb down. Once her feet hit the cobblestones she broke into a run, ignoring the cold sweat prickling her skin and how her knapsack hit her hip hard enough to leave bruises.
