Those cheeks ... that hat.. ( the nose flashes.. not Lily’s nose!) @silktree1987 and I nearly melted when we saw the hat flashed!! Minkymoo looks like a pixie .. or a gnome... but a darn cute one - this is her Christmas Day outfit - I want it to get full wear - she’s grieving so quickly ! So she wore it yesterday to see her nanny pam and tomorrow she ll wear it to see her big sister Hollie and her nephew ( who’s 9 months older than her ) sam. As we are all well ... if you have nt followed me for long my grandson has cystic fibrosis- so we all have to be germ free and healthy before going near him.. so I can’t wait to see the little pudding - and watch him run around @avoncroftmuseum tomorrow - looking at all the Christmas decs poor Charlie will be worn out with two little ones around!! #family #poorcharlie #minkymoomoo #grandson #nephew #cysticfibrosis

Xoxo Charlie and Cristina Hi, I'm Charlie! I'm a 7 month Olde English Bulldogge. I have a severe infection to my left shoulder and if I don't get to a hospital for IV antibiotics and treatment, the infection could spread and I may not be with all you lovely people for that much longer! Here is my story! About 2 months ago, my human took me to the vet because I was walking with a noticeable limp and I was in too much pain to walk on 4 paws. She was very worried so she took me to the Alta Vista Animal Hospital. Emergency care and X-rays were done. She was then told that I have a lameness to my left shoulder (a sprained shoulder) I then had to take meds for the pain, and anti inflammatories for the swelling! Oh and absolutely no dog parks, walks, stairs or my fav couch :( We followed these instructions to the letter (and I miss my dog park friends!) A few weeks later, she went back to her regular vet because I wasn't getting any better! The vets said sprained shoulders take time, more rest and more meds were given! About a month after this whole ordeal started and I still couldn't walk on all 4s, she went back to the vet to get more X-rays. Instead of X-rays, I was given some pain meds and more anti inflammatories. The medication was not working! It still hurt too much to walk on all 4s and if anyone touched my shoulder, it hurt! About 2 weeks ago, we went back to the vet for X-rays. My human insisted they do them because what they were doing wasn't working.At first they thought it was a fracture on my shoulder, then it was nerve damage, then they thought it was neurological. Finally after the X-rays were sent to a speciality, I have been diagnosed with Septic Arthritis to my left shoulder. This is apparently common in young pups such as myself when our bones are still developing and tissue and muscle is still tender! Because of my injury that was never properly diagnosed, that is how the infection spread. Because it took the vets so long to figure out what's wrong, my treatment is going to involve a hospital, surgical procedure to flush out the infection and then do a number of tests to establish what antibiotics to give and then to administer it by IV antibiotics and fluids!All in all - this will cost roughly $2500!!!!!I don't want to be in pain anymore! I want to be able to walk on all 4 paws and I want to be able to go for walks and dog parks and play with my furfriends and my humans again. I want this infection to go away! I can't do that without this treatment! I need your help!
