Reggie Watts at Pop Tech
Reggie Watts’ comedy is pretty hard to describe. He performs what sounds like a TED talk or keynote presentation that’s been made with Burroughs’ cut-up technique - interspersed with a tapestry of musical stylings using his loop pedal and keyboard. He moves at right-angles. There’s a seemingly endless flow of metaphysical and pseudo-scientific pontification that almost makes sense, but as soon as you start to understand, you've lost him again. Absurdism doesn’t begin to describe it.
