Hucklerobby wingfic idea (sad)

World building- Wing folk are kind of known but not common and don’t show off their wings (wings can completely disappear when tucked away) most people are a bit uncomfortable around wing folk and there are some groups that want to 💀 them (not really relevant to the story at hand)

Idea - end of season one Robby on the roof he’s actually gonna do it this time but instead of Jack showing up Dennis had seen Robby go up the stairs and followed him. Robby steps off the edge right as Dennis opens the door. Surprise Dennis has wings and run off the edge of the roof to catch Robby. Robby has the oh shit I kind of want to live thought as soon as he’s falling. Maybe we get an internal monologue of Robby thinking of how this would affect everyone. At the end of the monologue he thinks of Dennis and how much he cares for the young man maybe more *wink wink* maybe he apologizes to Dennis specifically out loud as he’s falling. Then boom someone grabs him and he’s no long falling but ascending (strong farm boy Dennis). Dennis brings Robby back to roof que lots of crying and holding, Robby apologizing trying to explain himself. (Could turn Hucklerabbot if Jack joins them on the roof then Dennis instinctively hides Robby with his wings but relaxes when he sees who it is/Jack hides his fear and sadness with anger at first but breaks down eventually)

Other Bits - Dennis + angel iconography, his family is ashamed of him calling his wings disgusting etc., Dennis’s wings are in poor shape cause not preening and ashamed of them, Robby fixes that and delicately takes care of him calling him his angel, Dennis probably at first feels really uncomfortable with the idea of being a savior, probably another wing folk in the Pitt (thinking Dana idk why)

Make it worse - Robby also has wings and could’ve saved himself (in his oh shit maybe I want to live moment he’s got to much emotion to remeber he can fly ( if you make it hucklerabbot it makes jacks anger and breakdown more intense since he’s one of the few people that knows about Robby’s wings/derek shepherds “she’s a good swimmer she knows how to swim”))

Okay that’s all someone should write that :)
