The ongoing project that is my husband’s blanket. 

The blanket will be made of popcorn flower motifs that will be assembled as one huge blanket in hexagon tiles. The original plan was to crochet 2 motifs a day, but I’ve fallen very short of this goal.... and I mean, very, very short! Some months I hardly manage any...

Anyway, I will try to renew my commitment so that my husband can have his blanket next winter....

So far I’ve crocheted 82 motifs out of 5 skeins - out of a total of 32. Long way to go still...

Skein #7 is called Chocolate Banana and was a nice surprise. I thought it would be another drab one, but, to my surprise, it has become one of my favourites: the surprises of variegated yarn!
